Course Curriculum Overview

4

Firstly I have chosen this course as there were some positive reviews of the course in that particular college which encouraged to choose that course. Later on I was happy for choosing it. It was possible because of the well trained and skilled teaching staff who makes the course look and understand easier and one can face any of the real world situations when he/she is let to. By the well trained teaching staff the exams for the student doesn't seemed to be a hard one.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college offers a gift intership opportunities to the students to showcase their talents upto their potentials. Companies like wipro, accenture, Toshiba offers their job letters to the students so as to get the fresh minds to grow up .

Placement Experience

3

There is a placement cell in the college where students are offered by the well known companies with a good or average package and a good post in the company. The percentage of students getting placed is 15 out of 50 students.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this the courses offered are BCOM (REG), BCOM A&F, BCOM (LSCM), BCOM BDA, BBA (REG) etc. From the fees point of view the fees varies from courses and different combination, I have opted for BCOM (REG) for which the fees with uniform charges included concluded upto 80,000. There's a difference of nearly 10,000 to 20,000 of different courses.

Campus Life

5

In the college there are many different cells which acts as a main part of upholding the college goodwill. Units such as NSS, NCC, YOUTH CELL , ISR etc. has a good recognition in the college. The infrastructure is a word of talk of the college because of its well infrastructured building, technologies, computer labs, E library etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

I don't live in the hostel but a friend of mine keeps telling that the hostel has a good vibe in it. It is being secured and he can live in the hostel without any hesitation. Because the hostel has a proper beds in the room and time to time eatable will be ready.

Admission

Firstly I applied to this college because one reason it was near and walkable distance to me and I was well known about this college and it's prestige. I wasn't rejected by any of the college but this college showed up to me it's real value. The admission process in the college is simple, you can apply it through online and offline. Firstly there will be a general interview session with the director of the college then a small test of what you studies in the previous years. Then you will be recieved a message regarding the admission approval from the college.

Faculty

4

Usually as instructed by the University there are 2 semester exams carrying NEP syllabus which carries 60 marks of written paper and 40 marks as assignment allotted. Under that in each semester there will be 2 internal assessment carrying of 20 marks which later will be converted to 10 for internal marks. Then there will be 4 to 5 assignments which has to be written or some assignments will be of seminar about a particular topic given by the lecturer for which a student has to discuss about it for 5 to 6 minutes for which marks will be allotted. Later on the marks will also be calculated on our class wise behaviour. Finally all the marks will be allotted into the UUCMS portal which will be finalized.

Night Life

5

The college is fully secured place with all the securities, Watchmens, cctv placed everywhere which makes the college the be safer and to roam around at nights. College even offers a gym membership for the students at a very reasonable price. One can enjoy there college life in this college.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
