Read this if you want to join SRM

I chose this for the fact that electronics and computer it has advantages of both domains. Although, you can't really be eligible for all the computer science domain jobs. If that is your aim you go for IT for CSE. This one comes under electronics major only. If you want to do something research or something you can do it.. area of improvement is the false hope they gave for job for both CSE and ece, but it's onlyy for ece jobs. Exams are too easy even a child could do it

Companies like siemens, microsoft, tcs, cognizant and a so much more companies provide internship. Stipends from 15000 and even more is given by these companies as pre placement offer and placement offer.

Placement is the only and main reason I came to this college, if u want to get placed come here. They are the best hands down. 75% of students get placed. After getting degree I am gonna go for job. Highest package was 56lpa or so and avg is 4lpa or something

During the year 2021-2025 the fee was 1.7lakh/semester. For electronics and computer engineering in Ramapuram campus. There was a career development fee of 25k and book fee of 15k. So a tution fee of 1.3lakk and 40k which gives 1.7lakh. they do ask for some breakage fee lab fee etc etc but it is for 100rs per semester. You have scholarship also. 1st generation scholarship, 90% and above in 10th and 12th and sports quota also. They get half fee subsidized.

Overall campus life is AVG, in kattankalathur it seems to be really good. In Ramapuram it is not the best although if you can try and get into clubs and have talent you can join culturals it is quite nice. There are many clubs, sports and room for extracurricular activities. They have libraries also. Annual tech fest is called elecxa, milan etc

I applied to several other colleges, I tried for Neet but I didn't get into them. I did ramachandra and EEC. I got into ramachandra but chose SRM because I liked their approach of leaving us freely and giving our own pace. Eswari engineering college was also good but their placements weren't upto the mark. No one can beat placement like SRM. I didn't get any rejection from any college, but I chose SRM since I preferred it. It was near me home and so easy to reach they are flexible and fee is also nominal. Admission process is direct, exam is SRM JEE, JEE and 12th score. Cutoffs vary each year

Faculty to student ratio is perfect, they haveany staff. Some are really helpful. Like Phani kumar sir and Gopi sir, they are friendly towards students. Some are really egoistic they hold grudges towards students. But overall everyone are very professional and maintain the student faculty relationship properly . The exams are really easy and it is so so easy to crack, keeping arrears are a rare scenario if you are a average student. The curriculum is also really good

Nightlife is non existent in Ramapuram and for day scholars, maybe in ktr idk you have to ask them. Gym is not available I think not sure, cafeteria is not bad the rates are nominal they have food trucks here and there. Ktr has a really good cafeteria/food court. Java point is a food area in ktr. It's good
