Course Curriculum Overview

4

B.Sc chemistry is a very diverse course in which onr can go in teaching line to M.Sc in biochemistry to become medical college professors and also can go in technical line like metallurgical department and others. Thats why I choose this course. The accessibility to do hands on practical in the laboratory influenced me to choose B.Sc chemistry in srinath university

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual yearly fees is 18000×2=36000. The fees is payable in six installments as per scheduled dates. There was a scholarship criteria on tution fees at the time of admission depending on 12th board marks 50%-60% gives 20% Scholarship 61%-70% gives 25% Scholarship 71%-80% gives 30% Scholarship 81%-90% gives 35% Scholarship 91%-100% gives 40% Scholarship There is No scholarship in D. Pharm and B. Pharm courses

Campus Life

4

There are Two major festivas, one is the TECHFEST and the Other is THE INTERNATIONAL HINDI MAHOTSAV(which is the highlight of the year and specialty of Srinath University) There are other small fests being organised my various departments throughout the year. Annual sports events also happen yearly. Overview of extra curricular activities is good as the departments are dedicated towards practical knowledge and make the students visit sites and fields related to their departments to enhance their skills which are useful for outside world and market. There are some small students run groups like art and craft group. But not that much currently. Its in the developing process.

Admission

I did not apply in any other college but I saw a college named Arka Jain University in Jamshedpur only. I choose this college over the other due to Its closeness from my home, its in the main city and Arka jain is very much inside from the main city road, like in a village type area. I did not get any rejection from any college The admission process of my college is very simple as its majorly based on the 12th boards marks for the UG courses. You have to go to the college and enquire or you can enquire by filling a form on the college website www.srinathuniversity.com . After that you go to college and buy the form. Fill it, attach the required documents and pay a minimum of 5000 rupees at first and pay the rest later or you can pay full semester fees at first

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good as currently class size is small. The Faculty student relationship is also nice as teachers are very polite and student friendly, you can easily approach the teachers and they are always available. The best Faculty of mine is Mr. L.K. Jha sir. He assist us in a very good way and motivates us to do practicals and explains the topics in a very easy way. There are no Faculty whom I disliked that much. There are 2 exams per semester, one mid term and one final semester exam which are of medium difficulty. Some teachers take class tests randomly. But class tests are not that difficult

Interview Experience

2

No i did not face any group discussion or interview or any written test for the admission in Srinath University. That is why I did not prepare for any of these. The process of admission is very simple by filling the admission form, providing necessary documents, passport size photos and doing payment for the fees.

Night Life

2

There are no gyms and the canteen is also shut at night because this campus is very small and between residential areas. The campus is open from 7 am to 5 pm and the hostel timings are that students should be inside by 7 or 8 pm It is safe to roam around outside the campus as its between residential homes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement system is not very strong because no big companies actually visit our campus. Students become eligible from 5th semester but still there is no regular campus drive. Sometimes small local garages or workshops come but they dont offer proper package, mostly they give training type work with very low salary. So there is nothing like highest or average package in my college, and only around 5–10% students manage to get some kind of job through their own contacts or relatives. Most of the students prefer to go for B.Tech or prepare for govt exams after diploma because campus placement is almost not there. My plan after completing the course is also to study further and look for better opportunities outside, since my college does not provide strong placement support. Overall placement in my college is weak and needs lot good improvement but the vishal sir is very good to get job for for others

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
