Life in Nirmala Hills

The curriculum is okay and it follows latest amalgamations but still there is no practical application and follows theories so that it require additional training for real eorld application of theories. In my opinion if practical application is also included in curriculum so that the students is not required to waste time on additional training

Inteenship with stiphends are not provided by the college. But if we want to go for an internship during holidays the college provide necessary documents tgat support students for participate internships. But internships are compulsory for all students and students other than FYUGP has to find companies their own for internships. Projects are provided during final year UG and PG students except FYUGP Ug project is a group and pg is individuals external evaluation and viva is conducted during the end of the project.

Placements are provided to the final year UG andPG students. There are various MNCs like EY, Deliotte, KPMG, TCS, Wipro, Infosys also banks Federal Bank, Muthoot Fincrop, South Indian bank. Currently the average package is more than 250000 yearly as placements. There is only limited students who are getting placed because of lack of mentor and hesistant from students. I am currently placed in EY but it is not satisfactory for me iam currently look forward into banking&insurance sector

As an Government Aided Student the fee structure is varying yearly. Last year I paid ?2853 as fees to the college which include tution fees and development fees. During admission I paid ?8000 as admission fees. Students under SC/ST category will get exemption in fees in some extent. Also the management provides scholarships for excelling students and government scholarships are also provided for eligible students

Every year our department conduct a national level Management fest which include interesting games for improving knowledge communication and leadership. Students from other colleges participate in the fest and provide attractive prizes. Also other departments is also conduct various programs related to their field as inter dept or inter college. Also the college conduct various sports and athletics on inter department basis. Technology is provided in the classrooms as multipurpose board etc. There are diffrent clubs in the college every students are the member of atleast one club but they arenot active. Library is very big and contains more tham 1lakh+ books including rare book also. Also the college has a digital theatre which project students films and documentaries and films

In my college admission process purely depends on higher secondary marks students with more than 96 percentage are provided admission in our department. It varies upon diffrent departments.There is no such other entrance exam for admission. I chose this college because of reputation and higher ranking of the college which is quite promising for my future

Specifically in our department there are more than 200 students and the number of teachers is 7 and there are 5 classes at a time it is ok when all teachers are present. Majority of faculties are approachable but some of them are not.Internal assessment is quite difficult because of tight time schedule also study leaves are not satisfactory for covering syllabus for university exams

Night life or night hang out are not permitted our campus. As a day scholar i am not aware about hostel timings. The college has a gym for sports students but it is not currently using. There are more than 5 cafetarea and they are clsed before 5:30pm also the library closes on 5:30 or 6 pm. The locality is safe for night life and there are many security and cctv cameras
