The average tier_3 College Life.

"The flexible learning system" doesnt work as it supposed to work. Each subject has certain faculty that deals with them except for final year students other year students doesn't know whether the faculty is a good one or he is a A1 class waste. And there are time constraints for each subject which we can never ever for any semister select 2 or three subjects of our liking without sacrificing other subjects.

From the 6th semister the placement training will happen which will be helpful if the students utilize this golden time. They can easily crack a placement. And for any student who is a teachers pet has more opportunites when compared to students who are calm going and not so recognized.

The fees structure is very detailed. We need to pay caution deposit of 5000 rupees which will be returend after completion of our four years. In 2021 the fees for the course Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in 2021 was 1,50,000 rupees. Each year the fees will be constant and doesn't change. but for people joining in 2022 that is our junior batch the fees wiil be capped at 2,00,000 rupees. These figures are for management quota students. For government quota which students can acquire the seat in our college based on TNCET marks. There are many benefits for students joining using TNCET marks as there is a reduction of fees upto 95 percent for high score candidates in TNCET. I have no idea for other category people.

The college life has many ups and downs. But all these hardships we get to experience with our friends together makes it an enjoyable experience. Every event in our college life was a sensational one. There are many social student clubs like Innovation club, Coding club etc, where students who have interest can join in.

Hostel is very comfy and with affordable fees structure. We have a dedicated mess where the food is above average. But the wardens are worst of a kind there is. They will make us feel like we are staying in jails instead of hostels. Especially the incharge Joyal. He thinks he owns us all and sends text messages at midnight 12 30. Which are all unnecesary messages.

I have never applied to other colleges other than SRM, VIT and Panimallar. I chose this college because of its infrastructure. Also the fees structure doesnt change for all four years. The college has a good reputation and less fees. So I chose this college.

There are some faculty who has better understanding of the courses and are very helpful for students. And there are some faculty who thinks they know everything but doesnt know how to write print program in python or C language. Sometimes we the students feel like the trainee faculty are more updated with new technology when compared to senior faculty. As the group which we opted has been evolving as months pass the faculty and the Institution still follows same old curriculum that has been passed from the past 20 years. There are some software subjects which the current job world had stopped using for the past 5 years, But our college still makes that a mandatory subject as the faculty doesnt know the updated software so they will continue with old software. Our dean known as "ICT Dean" the worst kind of dean any college even in pakistan ever to offer. And there is our HOD who just speaks with his eyes and doesn't have any power under his command. Even we feel sorry for our HOD who is being crushed by ICT Dean. And the best past our ICT Dean joined this college as computer maintance mechanic. Where as our HOD who is very technically skilled is still a HOD from the very begining.

As a hostler we will stay in hostel near college premises itself. There are dedicated playground for cricket and football. With two indore stadiums for badminton also there is a TV room for watching Cricket matches with friends and enjoy some fun time together. There is a fully equiped gym. Many hangout spots around our campus like canteens and cafeterias.
