Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. It covers current trends like machine learning, deep learning, analytics. There are also practical applications of them regularly so that we can practice our theoretical knowledge. There also addtional subjects like ai ethics , iot ,cloud computing..keeping them integrated with ai and ds course is quite good. It would be better there is stronger focus on core subject such as maths as in linear algebra, probability, etc ..and even specialized course faculties would be great to give more hands on learning. Regular inductry collaboration would definitely improve the knowlegde of the students

Internships Opportunities

5

The college management collborated with top companies to ensure the students get the right opportunities . There are specialized training and placement cell to look over placements and internships. Some the companies are , Wipro, Infosys,Zoho, Hcl , Accenture etc

Placement Experience

5

There are strong placements opportunities in this college with top companies being Google , amazon, microsoft, ibm, jp morgan, accenture ,etc The college has over 94 percent of students placed in many prominent companies.which is an impressive feat. Well my plan is to get placed at atleast or more than 6 LPA..if not i plan to continue my high studies aborad in country like canada or germany

Fees and Financial Aid

So at first i was told to to pay 3 lakhs yearly for the course and 50k for the bus transport iam awailing to come to the college. Then there was an entrance exam in which if you get more than 90 percentage you are offered 50k scholarship and your fees vecome 2.5 lakhs yearly and then 50k for bus. There wasnt admission fees but there anna university registration fee which came around 1000, and then exam fees which depended on what type of subject i took..like for theory a certain amount and practical a certian amount..and i had 7 theory and 7 practicals..and i paid around 8000 in exam fees. There was fees for events conducted around 500 rs or so. I went through management quota and this was the condition...those who went through government quota their fees reduced to minimum 1.8 lakhs to maximum 2.5 lakhs. Additionally i was given a decent college laptop..but the govt quota students didnt get one. Recently they even offered scholarhsip to those students whose family income is less than 2.5 lakhs..but they selected only few around like 10.

Campus Life

5

There is always something happening at the college l. There are pelnty of clubs who are given permision to conduct their own events which is managed by the students with favulty supervision. Various cultural fests, symposiums, hackathons, workshops etc. The classroms lack the facilty of air conditoning but they are equipped with comfortable benches and projector and even smart screens in labs.

Admission

I chose Saveetha Engineering College as i liked tha fact it is technology dependant and has a well structured Ai Ds curriculum covering all aspects. It also has tie ups with developing inductries allowed the students to get more opportunities. The labs are just great with a lot of facilities. There also events and clubs that peaked my interest to join over here

Faculty

5

There are almost 10 faculties for each subject to choose from as per our liking..so its really good and you can choose the ones which you are comfortable with. And everyone is quite humble and friendly with the students. The internal exam are not so difficult if you are focusing on regular clases and completing tasks on time. The university exams qmhad quite a lot of portions but they were covered by the faculty and as well the internal exams so we are pretty much prepared..there were few student who didnt pass..they were like in 10:1 ratio..the cource curriculum is apt in respect to anna university and the exam cover the objectives of the course

Night Life

4

There are plenty of shops and food stalls within the college which closes in the late evening..and certain ones runs for 24/7 . A quick share auto would get to you to nearby mc donalds, kfc ,dominos. There is also a movie theatre just outside the college. Plenty of affordable streetfood options beside the campus.. there is hostel curfew..but still students have fun in common rooms and canteens whenever they get the chance

Placement Experience:

The college provides four tracks for students: the placement track, higher studies track, entrepreneur track and the government exam track. Students can opt for any one track during their third year of study. The campus placements starts from the mid of third year. Mnc's like Accenture, cognizant visited our company the ratio is also good. Lot of startup's and core companies have also hired students.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 5 th semester ,however they are not allowed to join companies before completing the current course. Many companies have visited like(CTS, Accenture, Soti, cart rabbit , course 5i and many more) in my batch out of 800+ students around 200 - 250 got placed . The highest pacakge is 13.5 LPA and the average package is around 4.5 LPA - 6LPA. College say its 100 percent placement but nowadays its not true because about 20-25 percent students are bot placed because of skill issues. My plan is to get placed in a good company and save some decent amount and start trading.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.
