Course Curriculum Overview

Computer engineering is ever growing subject there are various of option to choose n make good placement everything around us in information and technology which has taken all over the world So I think it is good option

EWS,rajesahu scholarship,ebc,obc, Nice labs and infrastructure good stafff very helping n growing nice environment campus good competition various events n completions r done in college Students from everywhere very friends campus

Campus Life

This college really lack socials groups n events they need good managers for social media and groups but they make sure every even they conducts go well they go to other colleges as well to make students participate but I need they need to take steps to make ppls more awate

Admission

I didn't choose this college mu jee score was low n through CAP I got selected here but this college really works well teachers are hardworking and the system too so I wasn't expecting all of it but with time they r great

Faculty

Exams take place in semester forms as per 2019 patter theta insem for 30 marks and endsem for 70 marks we have practical's exams tooo which r conducted before endsem. BE is four year course . Papers are checked by university teachers as it is not autonomous college

Night Life

There's no nightlife and nothings around feels like I've traveled 10 years back when I go to that place it's a developing area but there zero night life so one should expect any of it from this place .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I have applied in 3 colleges 1.st guru gobind singh college of engineering and research center Nashik. 2. Matoshri college of engineering 3. Kk wagh college of engineering and research center. I got confirmed admission in guru gobind singh college of engineering and research, And Matoshri college of engineering. Our college takes admission from MHT CET cap rounds. And also Based on Jee main ranks. I have applied in Sandip university before Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering And Research Centre but the intake of sandip is about 3000 for Computer Science and Engineering and other Specialization in same branch and their fees is about 2 lakhs per year which is expensive in cities like nashik because there is no IT hub in nashik Eligibility for our college is Minimum 50% in 12th Boards....Read More

Guru Gobind Singh college of engineering review

So I take admission under TFWS scheme so I paid only 15,000 fees for first year. Eligibility is we have to score 135 in PCM group in 12th examination and also for AIDS branch there is cet score for pcm more than 75% if you have open or obc category. I take admission in TFWS So I have to pay 15,000 and there are only 3 students are eligible which are scored highest in the class.admission precess is very long and there are very less college staff for admission process we have to wait few hours for our term....Read More
