Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is structured over 4 years, encompassing core subjects of computer science such as programming languages, Data Structures, Analysis of Algorithms, DBMS, Computer Networks along with specialization subjects like AI, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and Deep Learning concepts.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements in my college are good. The highest package in our college in my batch is 23 LPA, and the average packages are around 5 LPA. The placement process and recruitment drives typically begins in the 7th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The B.Tech course in AI and Data Science at VIIT has an annual tuition fee of Rs. 52,000 for students admitted through AP EAPCET counseling, so the total fee for 4 years is Rs. 2,08,000(for convenor quota). The Management quota fees vary by branch. There are additional fees for admission in the first year only, library, lab, and semester examination fees. Other fees include Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) between 15,000 to 22,000, hostel fee(for hostellers) and transport fee(for day scholars using college transport). Also, there are scholarships available for students, providing full fee reimbursement like JVD.

Campus Life

VIIT hosts annual and technical festivals such Yuvtarang(typically in January) and Vista(typically in September). The library has vast collection of books, and digital resources, and it subscribes to online IEEE and ASME journals. The classrooms contain projectors and internet connectivity, facilitating teaching.

Admission

I have applied to several other institutions in Vizag. While these colleges offered reputable programs, this course from VIIT, along with modern infratructure and higher placement rates, made it a more attractive choice. I did not get rejection from other colleges as The first college that I chose is VIIT, and I have got there in first place.

Faculty

The student-faculty ratio is about 28:1, and there are counseling sessions where the faculty ask and understand the problems faced by the students and try and to resolve them. For each semester there are about 5 theory subjects and there are practical subjects as well. For each subject, 70% grading is through external assessment and 30% is through internal assessments.

Night Life

There are not much or no late-night activities in our college, but htere are activities conducted during the daytime like sports, cultural and technical evemts in our campus that are quite benficial .

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further.
