Course Curriculum Overview

4

Proper labs were there, the teacher's were good, exams were conducted on a regular basis, 1 Every month and an end sem exam, overall the curriculum was good, but it was compulsory to choose some subjects which were quite irrelevant to us, but it was mandatory under NEP

Internships Opportunities

3

I haven't actually done n internship in this college, but internshala, physics wallah came for recruitment and stuff. But the professors in ACHREM showed us how to use a laser and all, and like told us if we wanna work or build something then we can go there and do anything.

Placement Experience

1

I don't know much about the placements, but students do get placed but most of the people that do come here is mainly to study and go for higher studies and not necessarily to get a job after completing the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

When I came in I paid around 14 thousand, after than secend semester 3800 for semester registration, next semester I paid 5700, and all the upcoming semesters I paid 38000 and 5700. Mess bill for basic is around 3000 For financial assistance they give 1000 rupees per month, and that's it

Campus Life

4

Hostel infrastructure was quite bad, but the rest of the campus was quite green and nice, a lot of sports facilities and good social life there. Plus there are a lot of clubs and activities going on around in different departments and lots of cultural stuff are organised, study materials and books were quite accessible to us and we have a college fest called sukoon that's held once every year

Hostel Facilities

4

Mess is always open, except for two months during summer, u have to pay room rent of 500 rs per semester. The food here is not that good and sometimes inedible but yea, quite good sometimes(rarely). In ur room u will be provided with a bed, table, and a wardrobe, and also with ethernet ports for wifi(2 ports each room). Basically if u get admission here and if your home is more than 50 km radius, then u will get a hostel definately

Admission

This college was one of the best colleges in India, I had the option to study in Delhi University, but I didn't wanna stay delhi coz of the bad living conditions and no hostel there, so I preferred this college over it

Faculty

5

In physics department, there are about 30 teachers and all of them were really good to us and helped a lot in the internship stuff and academics and they were available for doubt clearance and academic support most of the time

Night Life

4

Library is 24/7 open, there are night canteens that are open till 2-4 am in the morning, although the timing differs a lot in winter, but it's a really nice place. Classes usually starts at 9 and ends by 6, a lot of gaps are usually there. People usually hangout in the amenities, north and south shopping complex.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the bsc(MSCS) because i have interest on the physics and its related topics so, this made me to choose this course and i felt it was best. The course curriculum was well structured and prepared me for the real-world applications and their development. This was much useful for my higher studies. The course is perfect and no improvements needed but only the thing from my side is to add some workshops and trainings. The exams are conducted twice a year and i feel its good.
