Abhijit's venture in Mangalmay

I am always wanted to become a computer science engineering and that is why I chose this course. Kis course teachers how to work in real life problems and earn. They require better faculty management and education system in here and requires to put some eligibility criteria as there is no eligibility at for taking admission in this college and anyone can take admission. The frequency timings are good but the difficulty level is really poor and the conduction level is non satisfying as there is no strict guideline being followed in here. It's too loose for an education system.

TCS ,wipro and local companies offer internships to our students. There are no known projects under my knowledge right now but some seniors are working on their entrepreneurship funded by the college itself and we are being told to think of something like that too as college will support.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements and internships that are fully supported by the placement cell of our college. They are many companies that come to our college including TCS and Wipro. They provide decent packages of 400000 per annum with highest package going to 6 lakh and median package goes to 3.5 lakh. 30 to 40% students get placed easily. My plan is to take placement from here and move forward to the top by myself and my hard work.

I am ping 129000 per year as my course fee and there are no scholarships for non up students. Up student under certain caste categories get scholarships up to 20000 as a fee waiver. There are no known merit based scholarships.

They are many annual and technical fests being held in here but they are conducted with satisfactory efforts and they never fail to disappoint their students. Security is really poor as take example of the freshers party that was held on 6th of December in here, many intruders entered the premises forcefully and made the environment unsafe for women. There are no social groups in here. The library is a good thing about our college as it contains all the books and journals required throughout the course. On the name of sports extra curricular activities students are forced to play volleyball and badminton only as they are the only options. There is a student run organisation in here called IQAC cell through which are college funds the individual entrepreneurship programs run by students if eligible.

They are two options in hostel for room facilities, two seater and three seater. The two seater charges 105000 per year and the three seater charges 95000 per year. There is medical or amenities based facilities being provided to hostellers. Take the example of last night as my locker's lock was broken and I was forced to get it repaired on my own. The warden is really bad. Mess food is the worst. They offer only vegetarian food and that too of very bad quality. The registration process is easy and very expensive.

My marks were not that good as I could have gotten better colleges and also the money I was being asked to pay in other colleges was much higher therefore I ended up here. See this college is worst if compared to other colleges around it but another hand it's really supportive regarding placement drive and internships. Anyone can take admission in this college and there's no eligibility criteria. You can either take direct admission or come here through aktu counselling. You Will get admission easily as the required marks are really low. It's as low as 50% in 12th or jee. The admission procedure is really easy and my overall experience was good.

The faculty student ratio is very low in here as there is one faculty for 60 student. They are easily approachable. The faculty teachers are really good except for the physics teacher. We are taught according to examination we are going to be appearing in. The physics faculty name Dhananjay sir is really bad at physics because he is not a project teacher and the physics faculty who was teaching physics left due to the internal conflict and now we are being force to to take lectures from a part time teacher. Sessional exams are conducted every month till the semester examinations occur. Although they are conducted poorly.

There is no gym in college. There is a cafeteria with very bad sanitation and hygiene facilities. We are allowed to go out till 7:30 in the evening and girls are allowed to go out till 6:30 in the evening. There is only one hangout place that is our cafeteria in my college. The locality is safe to roam around at night but the road is very unsafe as the locals drive very carelessly in here. The local students form unity and often perform mob attacks inside the college.
