ICFAI Business School from student's point of view.

Curriculum is very clear and help full in the understanding of business. The pros and cons of the business that are thaught are all real example based and will help understand things better. We have appropriate time required for exams and assignments. And also have time for extracurricular activities like sports and club activities.

There are different companies that offer internship in the campus. As it is an under graduation course, most of the companies that provide internships in campus are start-ups. But students can directly go to companies of their choice of they want to. A letter of recommendation is given by the university for internships. The internship is reviewed by the mentor that is allotted to each student. The internship is also considered in academic grading.

There is a seperate placement cell for placements in the college, companies start hiring process in the 5 semister. A lot of well recognised companies like Amazon, Zomato, Bank Of America come for placements. I will definitely option for the placement.

The early fees is Rs. 2,30,000 (Rs. 1,15,000 people semister), Rs. 10,000 caution deposit, Rs. 15,000 admission fees. There is no difference in fees for different categories. Students will get scholarships based on their intermediate score and further increase in scholarship based on their performance in semister exams.

Thriti, a 3 day event conducted every year is lit. And there are many other events conducted by clubs, Olympia by sports club, Entro expo by entrepreneurship club, etc. And a social welfare club that conducts blood donation camp every semister.

I got admission in ICFAI, Woxsen, Gitam and KL university. But Woxsen was compulsary residential, Gitam and KL university are more focused on BTech. So I choose ICFAI over other universities. For an admission into ICFAI Business School, you can apply through the college website online by filling an application form. The you will have a group discussion round followed by personal interview. Admission is no very tough.

The faculty are great, very experienced, ready to clear your doubts, and ready to mentor you for your career. The marks structure helps students to achieve both academic, corporate and social skills. For each subject, for a total of 100 marks, 60 marks will be internationals with midterm, presentations and projects. 40 marks from semister exams. And we have a relative grading which helps most of the students to pass. But it will be absolute grading for new batches which would be difficult for students.

You can apply for the admission directly through the university website. Then you will have to come to campus of GD and personal interview. The topics for the group discussion are generally taken from the current news or general topics like environment and technology. The interview is conducted to know about your intrests, interpersonal skills, hobbies, achivement other than academics, etc. You should have self confidence in both. It's not really tough, it's a very smooth process.

Campus opens at 6am and closes at 10pm. It is an open gate campus. There are 3 cafes, 2 canteens and 2 mess inside the campus. There are a lot of places to hangout in the campus like caterpillar, cafes. And there are also cafes and restaurants outside the college. Night life is beautiful inside the campus. But it would be a bit dangerous to roam outside the college at night because the campus is outside the city.
