What Students Say

Likes

some faculties are supporting the students in every aspects.
The infrastructure is good. it has auditorium, sports, area, event area.
Also they are providing events like technical game every months.

Dislikes

There is a criss of faculties in every course.
There are not giving best sports management for sportsmen.
campus side not good as other colleges have.

Course Curriculum Overview

As far as we consider that textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge, and that is 100% truth.in the case of scenario college are providing best curriculum for students.Right Now they are also collaborated with SAP.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

sigma had a fee structure same as other gtu semi-private colleges.It ranged from 25000 to 30000 per sem depends upon is students gets scholarship or not. The fees were to be paid on a semester basis after completing semester.

Campus Life

They are providing JOSH,Eminence for students along with the months they are typically held.The range of library well and also lots of accessibility of books.An overview of sports, not providing well for students.

Admission

sigma is one of the affordable college for students which living in vadodara those who not got admission in best government college.I have applied in GSFC but in merit list not got admission.so I have applied in Sigma .

Faculty

Some faculties are well qualified in each and every department. some teachers holding phD,Masters. There are all types of course available. Ratio of faculties are 40% and students 100%.I like two faculties from my college Dr sheshang Degadwala and Jaymin selani, they are best faculty in sigma.

Night Life

Gym,Sports ground i like in collage. And from my side I am studying in CSE. So I like to attain practical labs but there is a criss in my collage for labs.Also I like for hangout with my friends in cafeterias'.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The Average collage life

Placement Experience:

this is tier 3 collage of surat so don't expect higer placements and big mnc come for the placements, in my placements they commited over 25+ local companies come from surat but actually only 15 has come and only 20 students got placement accross over 200 students(computer + IT). and the average placement is 2.5 lakh oper year. and most of the companies are red flag because they want students to sign 1-2 year bond with very low salary. then lets about training for placement, its ZERO big ZERO they dont provided the placement training, i have seen 90 students from 120 gets failed in apptitude round. they have not provided training for cracking the coding interview only those students are placed who have done preparation by it self even 9+ CGPA students didn't get placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is actually pretty nice . Subjects are tought according to the needs but the problem is about they do not update course according to the needs like `right now everyone should know how to use AI tools well , these small thing should also include in it. Apart from technical subjects they also have communication , ethics , personality developemt as a subject too but with less credits.

Gati Shakti Vishwavidhyalaya: A true blend of speed and power of knowledge

Placement Experience:

Placement is there and around 92-95% students get placed every year which is quite good in current economy. Highest package offered was 12LPA which is decent for aa college openend less than a decade ago. Average package is around 6LPA to 7LPA. There is no restrictions in semester in which a student can apply for placement but usually 3rd and 4th year students are the one applying. My plan after degree is higher studies in colleges like Monash etc

9sem are eligible for campus placement Not any great placements are their in college Highest placement was 64lpa and average is 5 lpa 80 %student are placed. Currently I don't have any plans but I will think off it soon

There are placements available and it depends solely from one course to another. Same goes to the percentage of placements and the packages available. But for the Bachelor's of technology the package is around 4-5LPA

Studente get eligible when they pass the 6th semester at the end of 6 and start on 7 semester a person can apply for placement and also student can apply for internships also after the fourth sem. Here 100% placement is there the average package of student is about the 5 LPA and the highest is 8LPA

The exams come after 6 months. it is an external exam held by GTU. The internal exam was held by the college. The weekly test is provided by the college. There is no Difficult to pass the exam. it is very easy for hard-working students.

Sigma institute of engineering Review

Ive had applied for MSU , KPGU and some others but the cut off was too high . Admission through merit holded very less probability for me in that colleges whereas sigma had direct admissions through management quota at the same time allowing acpc merit list admissions too .
