Course Curriculum Overview

3

I like the technology field so i opted for CSE department. In college we have workshops in between like for a week so that students can try to find and solve the real world problems. Teaching meathod is ok but they have to improve in lab portions explanation. Frequency of exams is high and the difficulty in the exam is medium

Internships Opportunities

1

Internship opportunities in our college is average. As for my information no companies will come to college to provide internships with stipend. As i am in second year i don't know about the projects in our college

Placement Experience

2

The students from 7th and 8th sem are eligible for placements but our college will not provide that much opportunity to students Only 40 to 50 percent students hardly get placements in our college . Plans means i hope to get placement but i don't know what happens

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly the yearly fees for BE in our college for students who get admission through k cet is 104645 For general category and it varies on the category (caste) and type of admission like k cet, komedk, management. Secondly for students of sc and st category the fee is just 750 rupees (but the rest amount will be given to college by government that is in the form of scholarship ) But in the case of general students we get nothing.

Campus Life

4

Fests??? There are LEAST fests in our college (i feel shame to say this but still.....) We hardly get 2 fests in a year. They won't even give jersey to play inter college tournaments we bought it outside by spending our own money. Yes there are some student run social groups like TRIDHA for cultural things and WILANIOUS a tech support group by final year students.

Hostel Facilities

2

Only one fan for one room, meal and quality is good but not up to the mark. Hostel registration can be done easily by speaking to warden but our hostel (only boys hostel) is not affordable (we are paying more for the given facilities). If i rent a pg we have 2 to 3 pg at 8k for three sharing room

Admission

I applied for many colleges like ms ramahia, rv, bmsce, rnsit, and many more but my kcet rank was not supporting to get admission in them. The only college that was available for my rank is this college so it was not my choice but only option

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is ok but my opinion is the ratio is not up to the mark and in case of relationship with teachers its fine and most of the teachers are friendly. The faculty I liked the most is DR. NATARAJ sir from maths department his teaching is the best. The faculty I didn't like the most is DR. SABEENA BANO because she is not that good in understanding us(this is my opinion only and no offence) There will be 3 internals ( medium level) and the timetable of this will not be fixed and they will inform about the internals dates just before 3 to 2 days (I didn't like that)

Night Life

2

There is a gym only for name sake and it is not accessible for day scholars ( usable for only hostel people) and the time is flexible. Hostel timings is , boys cant go out after 8 in the night and for girls 7 in the night respectively. Only hangout place is cafeteria and that is overcrowded and very small. Night time we cant hangout in any places of the campus.

Other Applied Colleges

RNS Institute of Technology - [RNSIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

My k-cet rank was not up to the mark for that college

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice
