Inside the University: A glimpse into the heart of Presidency.

Intellectual property rights law is vwry relevant in the present times as there have been new inventions and discoveries almost everyday. People have been sharing their creativity online and offline that need copyright protection. Companies are doing commercially well which means that trademark law is protectiong their product and services.

The masters course in law is available for two specializations, one is IPR and the other is Information Technology. For both the specialization the fees is same and is to be paid in whole at the time of admission. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students.

Presidency University is known to host big events. One of such famous event is INVINCIA. It also conducts alumni meet every year. The library is well equipped. Classrooms gave good infrastructure. Asministration is smooth aa most of the work is done online on student portal.

The admission process in Presidency University is easier compared to other colleges in bengaluru. There is just one tekephonic interview round conducted and your documents are evaluated. Late admissions are also allowed unlike many other colleges in bengaluru. No competitive exam score is needed for admission into presidency school of law.

Faculties in presidency are mostly recruited on temporary basis as they keep changing every year. Sometimes you have 1 teacher teaching 2 or 3 subjects which is boring for students. You have two semesters and the subjects are Law in the Globalizing World, Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Comparative Public Law, Competition Law etc

There are many food counters in the campus, you get icecreams, pizza, burger, fries, coffee sandwich etc. Canteen provided thali for those who want full course meal. Hostel snack timings is 5 to 6 pm and dinner timing is 8 to 9. There arent many hangout places outside the campus as its a remote area. However you will find everything you want to eat inside the campus only. Nightlife is only during events and parties which is fun otherwise its quiet.
