Inside the University: A glimpse into the heart of Presidency.

Likes

First of all Presidency University has a beautiful campus, you have food counters at almost every floor. Its well built with good infrastructure & required facilities.
Many events are organized in the campus so dont be surprised if you end up seeing your favourite celebrity there.
There is no much pressure on the students as the college aint strict and the correction of papers is done leniently. If you study enough you will end up with a good score.

Dislikes

The area is remote, hence booking cabs is a bit difficult.
The hostels around the area are not good enough. Only stanza living is good but you will not find a vacancy as its always crowded
The school of law department have no direct placements but they do send you vacancies and guide you on getting placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Intellectual property rights law is vwry relevant in the present times as there have been new inventions and discoveries almost everyday. People have been sharing their creativity online and offline that need copyright protection. Companies are doing commercially well which means that trademark law is protectiong their product and services.

Presidency University is lovable!!

Likes

A beautiful place to be in as it is tough to figure out any drawbacks of our university.
An international class of infrastructure as we have every thing from high-tech classrooms to a proper moot court.
Everything is beyond ordinary here and therefore nothing about our college for which student can complain.

Dislikes

Definitely the location as it is one of those remote areas of Bangalore where finding transportation is tough.

Placement Experience:

Our college believes in making us self sufficient and therefore most students from here to for litigation. My plan too is that and therefore the litigation firms like Tatva Legal and Trilegal are the ones which comes for placements is where I will take few years of experience before finally going for litigation.

Presidency University offers massive facilities!!

Likes

Presidency University has the best placements cell and we have a range of training program to ensure that maximum students get placed.
Modern infrastructure which is as good as to give you feel of an airport is what we have at our university.
Our sports facilities are seperate for girls and therefore we don't have to compete with guys for getting our turn.

Dislikes

Very dreadful uniform and that's not happening at a university of this stature.

Placement Experience:

Mostly it's the law firms as in corporate UB Group, and FMCG companies like Tata Consumers and AB Fashion Retail among others gave us placements. Average placements for lawyer was 6.5 lakhs and this is the net as lawyers don't have a CTC packages.

Presidency University Bangalore is authorative.

Likes

Just a neat and clean environment in and around the campus that one can never have enough of the campus.
The university has kept over 100 fleets of buses and anyone can use them.
College has lush green sports ground and it feels like we are playing on some international grounds.

Dislikes

The college locality is indeed outskirts and therefore the auto and taxis charge too much if we have to move out of the campus.

Placement Experience:

Mostly it's the law firms like Indus Law, Globus, PICT and others. The payment scale therefore is less when it is compared with NLSIU or other NLUs. Some private companies like the UB Group and ITC amoung other others are also coming to hire students who have chosen corporate law as their main electives.

Simple and honest

Likes

The campus is good n green all the time They maintain it well They provide all basic necessities that a student might require
Focuses best on academics and discipling students
Clubs and sports events are regularly organised for students

Dislikes

College time hours are very long Students get exhausted
Management doesn't solve issues fastly and it causes us trouble
Always focused on attendance and sometimes don't accept medical certificates

Students are eligible for campus placement after finishing 5 years only students should not have any backlog My plan after getting the degree is to prepare for judicial exams and also go for litigation

Pros and cons of PU SOL

Placement Experience:

There is no placement for law firms still now because of covid. But still, they provide placement for the management side it depends on bba or bcom background. BA background doesn't have placements still now.

Admission:

Given the entrance exam c l a t and got good marks suggested in this college and send me to study outside my state all things good I was thinking that I will be not good in Karnataka but this college makes me wrong

Admission:

Not taking admission in this college that is so far from Rajasthan and I never go far from my family but I get name in the list and father wanted to send me here in Karnataka so so I take admission in this college I think it wouldn't be so good but it is good
