Remarks

Faculties have knowledge but they don't want to teach properly. Most of the staff is rude, some are very rude, some are friendly. Overall college is average but it has its own reputation in Madhya Pradesh.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

College is affiliated from RGPV University, Bhopal so course is similar to it. But it is a autonomous college which is a very good point. Semester exams happen in November- December and April- May. External happens after the exams.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements and job opportunities are available but not so good, it's average. If you are in CS, IT, EC branch then you have good opportunities. In any other branch placements opportunities are lesser than CS, IT.

College Events

2.5

There are so many events celebrated in the college. Like Samrat Utsav, Satyarth-I, Dj night, Robot race, different workshops etc. Samrat Utsav celebrated in May every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for civil, mechanical, electrical, E&I, computer science for 1st year is ?60300, for 2nd year is ?58100, for 3rd year is ?56800, for 4th year is ?55900. Fees for EC, IT, PCE, Biomedical for 1st year is ?75300, for 2nd year is ?73100, for 3rd year is ?71800, for 4th year is ?70900.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government college, it provides scholarship to OBC, SC, ST categories and also to minorities. General category students can use Green Card, issued by government. There are 2 banks in the campus which can provide loans to students.

Campus Life

3

There are some culb like club OE etc. Which are quite useful for students. Robot race and other activities happen in the college time to time. Every department has labs, but it's old. There are mostly old instruments in the labs. So many sports activities happen every year.

Hostel Facilities

2

I didn't choose hostel but condition of hostels is bad, you can live as paying guest, there are so many rooms available outside and they are near college. There is no transportation is needed everything is near to the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are helpful. There's a bit of ragging but it isn't harmful. College has a good alumni network. Which helps at the time of placements. Nobel prize winner Shri Kailash Satyarthi is also an alumni of this college.

Admission

My rank in JEE Mains 2014 was around 90,000. At the time of choice filling I put this college on no. 4. First I got EC branch but after 1st upgrade I got EE branch. After getting college had to verify documents in MITS, Gwalior (near your hometown). Then I go to college and fill the admission form and got admission.

Faculty

1.5

Minimum qualification of faculties is Post Graduation. There are 9 branches in the college. Senior faculty (professor and associate professor) have so much knowledge. Lecturer faculty does not have deep knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
