There is always a gap between what a college teaches and what an industry requires. But here, the gap is a bit less. The type of curriculum this university has, it make a student industry ready and ready to bear any kinds of pressure. I think multiple exams is irrelevant as it limit the scope of practical and applied growth of the concept.

There is always an option to do internship with the college faculty as they are researching in different different fields. Also faculties recommend you to different companies and other facilities of different universities to hire you as interns.

Here, 100% placements are given to the students who want placements. Campus placements here, start from semester 7 onwards. While most of the students are placed before end of semester 7. Also, there are very good off-campus opportunities available for the students of our university.

There is not much of a campus life except for the studying. There occurs a cultural fest "Felicific" for the sake of having. Not so much of fun. There are different different clubs not very active. Also, activities other than studying are not very much promoted

Dharmsinh Desai University, is one the top engineering colleges in Gujarat. It is a very reputed university for producing very focused engineers over the years I took admission here, for its reputation. Here, admission are given based on GUJCET and some seats are given based on JEE mains.

Overall the faculty members are well experienced and have great connections in their respective industry. The faculty to students ration is 1:65. Here, there are a total of 5 exams per semester. 3 internal/ sessional exams 36 marks each; 1 practical exam 25 marks; and one external exam of 60/40 marks depending on the subject credit. Also, 4 marks of attendance for attendance above 80%.

The University is situated in Nadiad. The cityhas no specific night life. Most of the places such as restaurants close by 10:30 PM. College has one cafeteria which has good food. Other than that their is a space designed to hangout with friends, but is used mostly for studying. There is also a huge library with separated seating space for boys and girls to read. Our University does not provide hostel accommodation for engineering students.
