No Internship available

The coarse of GTU for diploma in Electrical Engineering was to easy comparison to BE. There was no more numericals and no need to remember too much equations. The coarse was focused on practical knowledge. There was enough equipments to complete coarse. And also coarse include lab work, field visit, internship for getting practical knowledge also include major project in benefits with ssip able to get maximum 2lakh if idea was really good. So all over the coarse was well designed and focused on practical knowledge. But the things like less numerical, theories cause less thing to remember.

The collage not offer internship directly. But in our course we have to done internship of 2 weeks for internship 1 and 6 weeks for internship 2. So we have to find internship by local company by ourself. Also course have final year project. Which help to gain practical knowledge.

The placement was staring to arrive at 5th semester. Who offer placement before final exam. And after completing coarse we get offer letter from that company if we selected. For clearing interview first we have to pass the mcq exam. Which was little bit tricky and hard including technical knowledge and aptitude test. After that the we have to clear group discussion round after technical interview and last HR interview. The company like Reliance, TATA power, TATA chemical, Suzuki motors, Nayara, Suzlon, shnider, linde engineering, L&T, Torent, TCS, Appollo tiers and some local company are visit and give handsome amount of salary around 2lakh to 3lakh per annum. The maximum salary was offerd by company was shnider and Linde engineering 3.1lakh per annum. There is very high chances to get placement and if the student can't get placement in good company still there are able to take job in local companies. Or star a busness. Also if they have a new idea so they can get money from government. After diploma i chosen for higher studies. Because the salary was limited also not can become graduate engineer. So i go with Bachelor and take admission in LD collage of engineering.

As TFWS. have to pay 150rs per semester. And exam fees is 550rs. But for open category student have to pay 650rs as semester fee + 550rs exam fee. So all over for TFWS admission yearly fee is 1400rs and 2400rs for open category admission. I take Digital Gujarat scolership cause i am not hostel student. So i get 5000rs yearly. My friends who living in hostel which fees is 52000rs can get half of it by MYSY scolership. So in comparison with private college this college has less fee and high placements.

The campus was really big. Because it's government college. And have garden, play ground, library, canteen. There was not annual fastivals but comparison like sports etc are organized in starting of year. The library has enough books by author to complete course without purchasing them. The faculties are well experienced and enough equipment to complete course. I don't think there was any group run by students.

Luckily i get admission in first round. I chosen this collage cause of less fees, easy syllabus, good location, good placement and faculties are excellent. On other colleges have high fees and less placement. So i chosen this collage over other collage.

In my college, the ratio is around 1:15. But the class was not full. I like v.d. devdhar sir who was very experienced and pationeted to tech. Also he tech exta important this not included in syllabus. I don't want to specify the faculty i don't like. But that sir was little angry and take i card for any misbehavior. But all over all faculty was really good. The exam was not to hard. I get 9+ spi in all exam by studing last 3-4 weeks before exam.

There collage have no late night life. I don't think that's possible or more over that will be horror experience. The campus have canteen, big ground, garden, auditorium. Not have gym. Collage have hostel but it was bad or not preferred by faculty it self. So student chose to get privet hostel. Collage is accessible to city bus. So easy to go anywhere. Also near to aji dam so good place to visit with friends to make memories.
