Oriental Institute of Science and Technology - Review

Industry relevance, it focuses on basic technical and core subjects such as maths, physics and chemistry. Though it lags behind including newer technologies such as IoT, AI, Data Science and we do have practicals but the main focus is on vivas.

The students become eligible for the placements in 6th sem. Major recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL and Cisco. The highest package offered by TCS is 7.5 LPA and the average package will be around 4 LPA.

So my yearly fees is 140000 which is constant for the four years. The exam fees are separate. There's a TFW(tuition fee waiver) seat. If you get allotment on that seat then you have to pay really less fees around 40k per year. MPTAAS provides scholarship for OBC, SC and ST students. The amount of scholarship differs on the basis of these categories.

The college organises one Fest in a year that includes both cultural and technical activities. The library is very extensive and it is considered to be the biggest library in Bhopal. Well this is a technical institution so not much facilities of sports. A lot of technical clubs are there. There's a student body named SAC (student activity concil)

I have chosen this college because it is one of the reputed colleges in Bhopal MP. It holds superiority over other colleges. I got the admission through MP Counselling so the process was very easy and I only had to submit a few records and documents.

Well, the faculties depends on your luck. If you get a young professor they tend to teach students in a friendly and fun manner. That doesn't mean old teachers are bad, they are just generally a little bit strict.

There's a cafeteria inside the college campus. The opening and closing time of library is around 10am to 4pm. The timing of college is from 9 am to 3.30 pm. Also there are a lot of hangout places that you will come to know after joining the college.
