Oriental Institute of Science & Technology- A quick tour.

The curriculum is quite vast and includes many new things which is different from the things which we learnt during school days. The faculty is also supportive and good. The faculty student ratio is 1:40.

The college offers internships opportunity to the students from the second year itself in which students learn about different coding languages and get real time problems to solve while learning so that they can get experience.

Placements are quite satisfactory. The average palcement is of 4.5 LPA which is more than many private colleges of the area. Highest placement is of 72 LPA which is in Amazon and it's an off campus placement while on campus placement offered a highest placement of 21 LPA in Airbus.

The fees structure is very affordable as I'm a second year student my fees is 1,05,000 while for the new students the fees is increased to 1,27,000. The hostel fees is 68000 and for new students it is 71000. Scholarship is provided to J&K students, SC & ST students of Bihar, OBC students of MP.

The campus is of 17 acres. The college is established in 1995. The infrastructure is quite good and there are many communities in the college such as literary community, discipline community, sports community, etc.

There are 3 hostels and 1 guest house in the campus. Two are provided for the girls and a hostel and guest house is for boys. There are three types of accomodation available as 1 seater, 2 seater and 3 seater rooms. The food is average.

The admission is based on the JEE mains percentile and according to the percentile different engineering branches is provided which can be upgraded to a better branch if seats are available. Overall admission process is quite good and it does not take much time for the admission.
