Likes
- The campus is big and quite good hygene a.d cleanliness is maintained here. Faculties are good and are graduated from IIT'S so it's a good point
- Good teaching and also friendly nature of professors can be seen here.
- Communication skills in english can be inproved here and can learn lots of things here
Dislikes
- Food needed to be improve. Place to sit in mess is less.
- Wifi services is not all good here. Needed to look after it.
- Hot water should be available 24 x 7. Quantity of food should be served more.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSBS is the course which deals with computer science as well as business system. I choose this course because it is new in market and is created by tata so am bit happy with that. Timings are enough for the exams.
Placement Experience
After 7th sem students are eligible for placements. Many companies like google, microsoft, TCS, etc. visit here. Highest package here is 42 lakhs and average is 7 to 8 lakhs. 65 to 70 percentage of students get placed here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise tution fee and hostel fee respectively 3 lakhs and 1.5 lakhs. So the total is 4.5 lakhs per year. My category was 2 so i got 3 lakh for tution fee and for category 1 it's 2 lakh. I don't have any scholorship.
Campus Life
Many festivals and events happen here like hackethon, CTF and gaming events. All types of books are available here in libraries. 3 libraries are there in our campus. Faculties are good. Sports is also excellent here. Am in 2 clubs currently, Entrepreneurship club amd GFG club.
Hostel Facilities
For each floor one warden is there. And for each student one mentor is assigned who take cares of the student curriculum and health issues. Meal here is good and quantity is also avereage. Registration process here is normal billing and fingerprint system. Am in hostel.
Admission
I applied for PES university, BITS, and other colleges too but VIT is something different from others. The quality of education and placements are quite good compared to other colleges I approached. I couldn't make it for IIT as competition is too much high in India also caste system ruins it more as am general category. Admission process was normal like other colleges , it had cutoffs by which we can choose our course.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:50. Faculty and student relation in our class is quiet good and we can clear the doubts whenever we want. Adilakshmi mam is very good in teaching and she teaches very well. She is student from IIT Madras. I liked all the faculties except Lella kranthi sir because he teaches very fast. Exams like cyclic test are conducted every week so we can improve in our corresponding subjects. 1 or 2 only will be failed except those everyone will score good marks. My course curriculum is awesome.
Night Life
Hostel Gym and personal gym are also available here. Cafeterias are also there with plenty of food items. 3 libraries are there in total. Hostel timings here are morning 6 am to night 8 pm. Campus is quiet good.
