Likes

I liked the campus of the college . Mainly the greenery and the crowd
I liked the faculty not how they reach but their behaviour towards students
I like the course which I have taken because it is the best in the college and the play area like cricket ground , basket Ball court etc

Dislikes

The classroom infrasturture or the facilities provided i.e no charging points in classroom
The no of assignments and projects they give is not tolerable

Course Curriculum Overview

I liked the way they give us important questions . If there was more pratical based questions and It ll help if there were more presentation based lectures . Exams are pretty easy and frequency of exams are like one internal assessment in one month

Placement Experience

From 6 sem students are eligible for placements There are around 50 comapnys visited Highest package was 30 lpa and average package was 4.5 lpa from companies like TCS , infosys 70 to 80 percentage get placed My plans are to gooo off campus and get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year I am currently paying 215000 per year . I .e 2 semesters ... Tution fee is 191000 and other 24000 is divided between all other misillinious . As I am from comedk I pay 215000 and few of my friends are from kcet who pay around 119000. There are some of scholarships like pradhan mantri yojana

Campus Life

There is a fest named vismay which is done annually .. it is a very big fest celebrated for two days .. The library in the college is very vast . Cctv and projectors are installed in classrooms . Amjorly all of the sports are played at good level and new comers are encouraged .

Admission

I got a confirmed admission from ruas ( ramaiah University of applied sciences ) I chose this college over others because of placements this college provides and the fee affordability compared to other college .... I got rejection from many colleges like rnsit, msrit because I didn't meet their cutoff in comedk . Admission process was pretty normal like other colleges . Comedk and kcet were given to enter this college .

Faculty

Faculty of our department is pretty good I e some of them are really good , friendly , supportive You ll have 3 internal assements and different assignments and projects and then sem end exam . 20 percent fail to clear internal assessment and 10 percent fail in sem end exams

Night Life

There is one cafeteria where food is very affordable and tasty and canteen where they provide daily meals and there is a small gym in sports room which can be used by begginers . For boys hostel closes at 10 and girls closes at 8 30 . There is this shop named lassi shop which has good food

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
