Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum provides a solid foundation in the course of Bcom (H) . The curriculum initially appealed to me because of its focus on finance areas and accounting area. as a commerce student these two topics are the most important ones. the inclusion of taxes in accounts and mutual funds in finance subjects really adheres to the real life experiences that a student will face in their future . i would suggest to include more real world projects into these courses and subjects for a comprehensive analysis .

Internships Opportunities

5

There were various internship opportunities that were offered to the students of first year , related to various fields such as finance , stock market, digital marketing , IT industry , accountancy .etc . The internship included training and internship based on performance of the students with a stipend of 18000-25000. There was a small fees that was deposited for the training which was 3500. The training is going to last for 2 months .

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th or 6th semester . Companoes like Wipro , Accenture,JP Morgan etc approach the campus for placements . The placement percentage is 80% of the batch . The highest package ranged around 45LPA and lowest around 8LPA .

Fees and Financial Aid

the yearly fee structure lies somewhere around 160000-170000 . for the first semester security deposit of 15000 is also included in the first semester fees making it a deposit of 99000 . There was no registration fees for applying into the university as for covid reasons , which was a plus point as other private colleges have very heavy registration fees itself . For the record the fees is not including and hopefully it does not increases in the future too. In the management department , the fees of BBA students is slightly more than the BCOM students . The best part about the fees is that they provide full scholarship to students who have scored above 93% in their boards , partial scholarship to 88% and more and quarter scholarship to 85% and more . I am currently on a partial scholarship .

Campus Life

5

Annual festivals include sangathan that is the sports meet that takes place somewhere around september . Amiphoria is also an annaul festival that takes place in march . There are various clubs mostly that help in the social benefit of the needy and helpless. The library is vast and has wide range of books related to all departments . The sports facilities are amazing .

Admission

i did not really apply to any other colleges or universities , my first and only choice was amity as it was closer and i wanted to complete my graduation in my city being close to my friends and families

Faculty

4

The faculty is really humble and understanding towards every student's problems. Every minor inconvenience is often looked after by the program leaders . Exams are moderately difficult and marking system is also good . Students do not face much problems in clearing the exams . The cpurse curriculum is very helpful in understanding the what we need to study for exams .

Interview Experience

5

NO i did not gave any interview for my admission , though there was an online proficiency test that the students were supposed to give and pass by 65% marks and if they did not they had to study for abridge course and give the test again . The test was based on all the subjects we had in 12th grade .

Night Life

5

The day scholars are not really allowed after the classes are over that means by 6 , only the hostellers stay at night . as of what we have heard from the hostellers , the night life is pretty lively and safe to roam around . there are various cafes and hangout places near the university that are really good for spending time with your friends . Hostel timings are 7 o clock in evening for both girls and boys .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of curriculum that influence my decision to choose this course is that it is very good and personally I think it is scoring. The curriculum is very well as it prepares me for real world applications for the academic pursuits. There is no areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods as they are best. The frequency in timing of exams along with my perspective on their difficult level is moderate moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good but only theoretical, it does not prepare you for real world challenges, since bcom is a general course but still acts as foundation of every Commerce students career ladder, the decision for opting it is correct. The frequency of exams are less and their moderate difficult but not very hard .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.
