Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good and really elaborative but it is more on the theoretical side than the practical side. For you to get a high paying job you yourself will have to develop certain skills. The curriculum gives more of theoretical and basic knowledge , but what is required in reality are skills and practical knowledge. Exams are being conducted regularly , monthly exams with low to moderate difficulty level and semester exams with moderate to high difficulty level. Besides, these viva were also being conducted both the internal viva conducted by college faculty and the external viva conducted by the faculties of other college in which basic questions are asked and practical notebooks and projects are being checked. Mostly, the viva questions are based on the topics of your practical notebooks. In the 7th semester you have to prepare a minor project and in 8th semester you have to prepare a major project.
Placement Experience
The placements of Gyan Ganga was good but eventually it was low because of COVID. But now the placement rates are improving once again. Students are getting placed in really good companies with a decent package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of Gyan College of Technology is as follows: 1. The anuall fee is around 72000 ( tuition fee around 60000). 3. Scholarship for OBC and ST- SC students. 4. Some discount for students who secured more than 80% in 12th board exam.
Campus Life
Gyan Ganga provide it's students a really big and technology advanced library.The Library has a large collection of books with monthly magazines and newspapers. College also focuses on extra curricular activities like quiz , PCB Designing, circuit hunt ,sports ,etc Tech fests are also organised by the college.
Admission
I directly applied to Gyan Ganga College of Technology after visiting all the reputed colleges of Jabalpur. I applied to this college because of it's reputation, discipline and higher placement rates.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite good. The faculties are really friendly. They are always ready to clear your doubts. There are certain faculties who are specifically appointed for the laboratories and practical classes. Exams are conducted time to time , besides the semester exams the monthly exams are also conducted which prepares is for the semester exam conducted by the university.
Night Life
I don't know much about the night life of the college because the college doesn't have hostel inside the college premises and students are not allowed inside the campus once the college gets closed.You can experience the night life in certain events organised by college like tech fest , festival celebration, etc
