Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is very good its a intresting course if you like crime and all you can have this course you can learn so much from this course and it's the best and since it's a multidisciplinary subject you learn a lot from this and we have IA exams where only 2 chaos will be there and then we have practical exams and finals exams which are easy and teaches complete postion very early and then give you holidays for studying only don't expect gov holiday and all they college will be working on Saturdays also

Internships Opportunities

4

Basically every sem they send internship which I liked it where we can gain more experience and it's a pay internship I had a internship in police station in Victoria hospital Bangalore and in cbi office and in question document office and I will have my pay internship in my final year in FSLs

Placement Experience

3

What I tell is choose masters after undergraduate here there good job opportunities where you can work in FSLs and CBI and more but it depends on the performance and how u serve teachers tbh this is how things work here you need to lick the teachers ass here to get good marks and placments and all other wise I don't get shit here

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined soundarya institute of management and science and i wanted to pursue bsc forensic science here the fee structure is 80000 per year where you can pay 40000 for half a year that means you can pay 40000 per sem and it's a good college for studies only not for other activities this college is in a budding stage and teachers are very good and it's a good campus these are some scholarship for sc st and all they also reduce fee if any financial issues and I am form a obc caste so i didn't get any scholarship and this college is affiliated with the bangalore university so it is not a autonomous college it comes under BU where all your papers and everything will be corrected by bangalore university only and they also have this optra where you can get notes and you can check your attendance your marks and more it's a pretty decent college and food in the canteen is not good at all it's costly and not at all good there nothing much in the menue and when it comes to fest don't expect wonders form this college none will sponsor their fest and it's a waste of time they also have this student council daksha which is of no use at all

Campus Life

1

Here students back bitch of which is worst and there is a student council which is the worst one and you should forget bunking and going out with friends and all don't expect standards and all here worst ever crowd no maturity and this is where you get the worst crowd to go out with

Admission

I joined 2 months late to this college and I had applied to kjc college where seats were full and then I applied to jain University there also seats were full and then I applied to other colleges where time was up for the application but inahd nonother option so I joined this college the people here are form villages and they have a very cheap mind

Faculty

1

The faculty is approachable everytime but they will support the students who are good with them and who always have serve them only they are very partial and I don't like any faculty here and exams are way to easy none fails here to Clear the exams and faculty don't encourage you they just need their assignments even if your dieing they don't give a dam about it and if you talk to a girl they tell you that you are not a good guy and all they have a very cheap mentality and there are some researchs thing in our department where faculty picks up the people they want and not the people who approach them worst faculty ever there is around 5 faculties in our department and mainly our HOD is very cunning and shit person no use of telling them any problems it's of no use at all 5 faculties for 30 students

Night Life

1

There are gym shops and all but there nothing in college it's not safe at night around college it is the shittiest place to be around is college especially during night it is not save around here nothing is good around 9 everything will be closed and pgs around here is yuck

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part of Scaler School of Technology is its course and curriculum. The subjects we learn are very useful and match what tech companies are looking for today. Unlike other colleges, we don’t study topics like physics or chemistry that aren’t needed for computer science. Instead, we learn about things like blockchain, cybersecurity, machine learning, mechatronics, and more. This helps us keep up with the latest technology. Even though the schedule can be a bit busy, it’s worth it because we learn a lot. We always bring our laptops to class, which makes learning more practical . The curriculum and teaching style are already well-planned, and if anything needs to change, they fix it quickly . We have mid-term exams every 1.5 month and final exams every 3 months, which helps us stay on track.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is prepared for us, it does not feel like we are ready yet (im in first year) we need need a tad more time and depth in areas like DSA for interviews. the exam frequency is high, timings feel rushed into, specially with how difficult the exam is. more exams are application and concept-based, they are designed to test your 100% knowledge of the subject being taught.
