Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Computer Science stream in the PUC. One of my faculty members there suggested me to take BCA . When i studied about the course and it benefits... it motivated me to chose BCA . I was told that also when compared Engineering courses with BCA .... it can stand equal. The exams in this course comes every 4 to 6 months. It is very frequent so some of the students might find it difficult.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure here in SIMS for BCA course starts with 90k . It increases every year by 5k. The college offers free bhs facilities. I've not recieved any scholarships until now as i didn't apply for any. The semester fee is 45k( depending on the yearly fees).there is no extra registration fee or lab fee. There are atleast 2 types of scholarships that come every year students here at SIMS.
Campus Life
The overall experience with my college life was great. I recieved a lot of help from the faculties of my college for my projects and other assessments. There is a wide range of books available here in the library. May that be academic books, self development books, or any inspirational books..... anything that we need is available at the library.
Admission
I chose SIMS because it had Excellent faculty members and placements. The infrastructure here is very good. Classroom environments are awesome. I had this college in mind from the very beginning. I did approach may be 2 other colleges to apply but found this was the good option.
Faculty
All of the faculty members are considerate and friendly. The faculty relationship with students is great. Their welcoming nature makes us students to approach them without hesitation when needed.I like all of the faculty members here.
Interview Experience
No. I didnt have to give interview or any kind of tests for the admission. It was a very simple process .... which included discussion with the college staff and sharing the future overviews of career.
Night Life
Around my college campus there are many hangout places. After the college hours some of the students go to the library to ease their mind and complete their works, and the other go play games and practise if they are into sports. The cafetaria has a wide range of menu as well. The locality is safe and secured. Everything closes by 5p.m.
