Likes

There are so many educated and highly qualified professional teachers
There are a good amount of diverse culture in the college
There are so many college seniors that support us in every aspect

Dislikes

Local students are being the gundas of the college
College management is very bad as they didn't support students in any aspect
College management didn't rely on their promise of the placements

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good as they introduce several languages like French German and Japanese in their curriculum in the first year itself and they properly switched to computer science based subjects in the second year itself

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Yearly fees structure of the college is dependent on the choosing of the course whether you are choosing core or specialization as I've opted for specization so my fees was 20000 yearly and it was 300000 for the core

Campus Life

As I'm an active member in the ISTE Club of my College and also I'm the cadet in 35 UP battalion NCC in SRM college which provided me great experience in the extra curricular activities as well along with the college course

Admission

Our college students are very good, our college professors are very good but he management of the college is not good as they didn't support students in any aspect of like placement opportunities or internship itself .

Faculty

There is a very good thing about he SRM that their professors are highly qualified professionals front the high college and university degree holders from all around the india and they didn't same as the management of college

Night Life

Our college didn't allow students to go out from the college in Night after 7pm for the boys and for the girls it's 9pm from the hostel and same relays for the men also they didn't allow us to go outside the college in the working hours

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

People become eligible for placements in 3rd year itself And a large number of companies visit the campus for placements offering a greater and a good package for those deserving The college offers a total 100 percent placement My plan is to get a degree and getting placed and taking an experience before my higher studies which i would think to be MBA FROM a good institute Companies visited are De Shaw,amazon,microsoft etc 6th semester students are prepared for placements and are guided accordingly

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
