Likes
- I liked the faculties as they are highly qualified and has a many years of experience on teaching.
- The class gender ratio I would say equal as the admission are based on marks. In my batch there are more girls compared to boys
- The college timings are 8 am to 1 pm so we can do other works after college ends
Dislikes
- There is a small canteen its usually crowded in break finding difficult to sit and eat
- There are lots of monkeys and dog roaming inside the campus they urinate etc
- They can improve on their infrastructure
Course Curriculum Overview
Aspects influencing course choice *Interest allignment- The course alligns with my career goal of starting accounting firm *Core Knowledge- Strong Advanced knowlege in all accounting subject and theory subjects like organisational behaviour, gst etc *internship opportunities- There are also a lot of internship opportunities Exams *mid term exam- first examination in each semester total of 50 marks which will be converted to 10 marks *model exam - total of 100 marks which will coverted to 10 marks *semester exam - it is of 100 mark which will be converted to 50 mark
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities from companies like Accenture, Sutherland the stipends are around 2000 rupees to 5000 rupees. Actually you have to find and search for internship and mostly most of the companies don't pay for internships.
Placement Experience
The placements were not so high. There are some companies visit the campus with a salary of 3lakh to 5lakh per annum. I have a plan of going for job after completing my studies If I get good package on campus job I'll opt for it orelse I will Opt for off campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
First year fee for M.com is 31250 rupees and second year fees will be around 26000-30000 rupees. There are many scholarship facilities for student with merit marks and income below 10 lakh per annum In my batch around 10 student received scholarship. The scholarships were around 2000-2500 rupees
Campus Life
The campus life is good they are focused on both academics and extra curiccular activities. There are many club activities are there. They support the sports student. The college timing are good from 8 am to 1 pm so the students can do other activities after college ends
Admission
I applied for M.com in Mcc College and these Guru Nanak College. I got rejection from mcc college as they are prefering merit based students and I went to get Admitted to Guru Nanak College as these college is NAAC A++ accrediated and 3.68 cgpa.
Faculty
Its a big classroom with 40 students there are 6-8 faculty per semester. The faculties are highly qualified they have a hands on experience of the subject. The faculties complete their portion on time, before the exam. There are total 4 semester for M.com. In each semester we have around 5-7 subject, passing mark is 50%. in a batch of forty around 3-5 students fail in either subjects
Night Life
There is no nightlife in college the gates will be closed after shit 2 ends. There is no gym, hostel facilities in College. You have to go home after the classes are over. The locality is safe it is in the main city velachery.
