Course Curriculum Overview

4

Bsc psychology and computer science were available in a combination in the college and honestly I chose this only for bsc psychology but happy that I am learning computer science as well. I don't think there's any improvement required in the teaching methods. Exams are held once a month or two. However subject wise tests are given according to the faculties.

Internships Opportunities

2

Not great opportunities for placements. However there are some top recruiting companies like JP Morgan, etc. bo interships from the college is provided. No idea about the projects and outcomes. No senior has told me about it yet

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for bsc psychology and computer science is 55000 in the first year, 50000 for the next two years. There will be additional examination fees from the University once in every semester. Scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

3

About fests and events there are plenty of them held in the college which is one of the best part. Intercollegiate fests, inter department fests, intra college fests, intra college events etc. From the department of computer science there is Oracle which is an intra department fest with both technical and cultural events. Certificates and trophy is given for the winners of the same. Kairos is an inter college fest. There are other multiple fests and events from other departments as well. Good sports faculties. Clubs and groups are usually very low. Library is one of the best things in the college.

Admission

I had only applied in Christ University but Christ University yeshwantpur didn't have bsc psychology course. However I got into Christ, Bannerghatta campus but was too far as I had shifted to nagasandra. ST PAULS COLLEGE was near to my house hence due to personal reasons i had to choose this college. There will be an interview in the college for admissions, percentage is also considered.

Faculty

3

Most of the faculties are very approachable in the college. Whilst some of them have some favorites and are partial towards them but during evaluation everyone is treated equally. Names of faculties I like- Suhaas sir (CS department) Elizabeth ma'am ( Language Department) Radhika ma'am (Commerce department) Exams are not too difficult nor too easy. Can be cleared with hardwork. Exams are held almost once a month.

Night Life

5

A lot and a lot of cafes are there around the college. All are nearby. There are restaurants, cafes, marts, etc which are very near. We usually hangout in a nearby cafe after the classes. Not really sure about hostel timings. Famous hangout spot inside the college is near the four benches places around a tree near the ground.outside the college i would say it is one of the hotels opposite to the college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
