Course Curriculum Overview

1

Course curriculum comes from Bangalore University and it's disgusting. Very less coverage compared to all other universities. I was a triple majors in english psychology and journalism. And it is only because I studied myself, and extra am I able to cope with msc psychology now. Otherwise you CANNOT rely on the course. Syllabus is weak, almost incomplete and most teachers too do a poor job. Exams are fairly easy though. It however takes ages to produce results and I had to drop a year to get admission into some other college for my master's. They'll make you pay tons for your own documents

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were okay, 34600 anually when i used to study. Pretty affordable. Has a few scholarships based on various aspects like merit, financial aid etc. overall pretty cheap and affordable especially for bachelors.

Campus Life

3

There are clubs but they're pretty much useless except the choir and dance crew. Other activities are individual bases. Up to you. Social life is good because diversity and well a lot of fests that we get to manage and go to, so that aspect of exposure is good.

Admission

At the time of joining we had brilliant teachers. I joined because of them, slowly all of those teachers left or were forced to leave due to I'll treatment (except maybe 2 of them who stayed). However as the new teachers came in (most of the good ones from whicch left, again) were simply not good.

Faculty

3

Faculty students ratios are decent. Only some faculty (most in the English and Hindi language department) are good helpful and nice. Others are abysmal and all other good ones have since left. The few who are left are stuck with inter department warfare and politics. Admin is partial, work is slow. Academic reliance is impossible because most teachers don't teach anything well. Some are ofcourse exceptional but they're overworked. Exams are decent but the results are too slow. You need to pay to get your own documents. They don't work in the admin office till mails to the principal are made. Student council is generally rigged.

Night Life

2

It's a tiny tiny campus. I have no clue about hostel timings, didn't stay in it. There's some sports facilities. If you're a singer, mics are AWFUL. Stage is nice though if backstage is well managed. Locality is safe because residential but Christ is our neighbour so too much hubub. Some gyms, cafes and others around. Metro close by

Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university. I filled two separate forms for two different subjects and appeared for two separate entrance tests. Students are called for counselling based on their test scores.
