ABOUT KNIT SULTANPUR

The advancement of the modern technology leads me to choose this course, in the upcoming era every single person is mendatory to learn the computer language .It provides the course to learn the computer language and the seniors forces to implement the learned things on the computer,provide the materials required for achieve the success. I think it is more benefacial to implement the language directly to computer instead to learn on the copy and papers . I think the teachers should focus more on data structure ans algorithms. I thing the examination pattern and timing is good it gives more time to students to improve the inner self learning instead of craming .

I am a student of first year so i can not tell what compnies offer the stipend but i have liesten that one of the seniors has cracked intership at google . Most of the students of core branches move towards the preparation of GATE.

From the 7th semester students are eligible for the on campus placement. The placement occurs in two sessions . The companies visited are Cognizant, Vanara Tech, Wipro, TCS, Flipkart, HCL, Delloitte, ERA and many more.The higest placement offered to student is 17 LPA in Cognigent and the minimum placement is offerd in TCS of 5 LPA . From the branch of computer science and information Technology all the students are getting placed and from the other branches the placement is 50 percent and many 2 digit and 3 digit rank in GATE is from our college.I am prepairing for the GATE and placement also .I am prepairing to acheive higher knowledge in more cloud computing in AWS and machine learning.

The yearly fee is 88850 including the caution fee and all other fees.The regstration fee for the AKTU Councilling is 2000 and 20000 for the seat acceptance. The hostel fee is 10000 and mess fee is 20000/semester. The tuition fee for the ST/SC students is zero,and seat acceptance fee is 12000. The Scholarship is provided by government of U.P. and some private scholarship are there ,can be availed by examination and tests. The U.P. Scholarhip for general/obc students is around 55-60k and for SC/ST is around 90k-1lacs if there financial income from all source is less than equal to 2lacs.If the student is not eligible for up scholarship than a merit based scholarship is provided by UP government to 10 percent of top academics students .Some financial aid is given to ecomicaly weaker students from Student Aid Fund.

There are two most biggest anuual fest coducted.Sparda with the collaboration with IIT BHU and Antaragini in collaboration with IIT KANPUR.There are many fest organised every year that is technical and robatics fest and Anubhuti fest. In library all the books for engineering is available but news journals is not available . AND you can access 3 books for 90 days .The classrooms are equipe with air conditioners and step wise stair seat and with smart board in some classes.Our college has basketball court and badminton court,many more. Some of seniors run Technical and coding club and provide all the require thing to study.

There is one bed and one tube light already given and other all necessary items you will bring.The mess quality is average and there is ro water is facility is available.You have to pay the fee of hostel at the time of physical reporting. The rooms are good .

I have also applied for MMMUT gorakhpur ,BIET jhansi but i have not gone to these colleges due to poor infrastructure and lack of faculty members,many issues . I have choosen KNIT sultanpur over these colleges because due better placement oppurtunity, better faculty members, good infrastructure better than those colleges and good transport facility.I have applied to those councilling also but from my heart i want to go in KNIT sultanpur. Admission to KNIT sultanpur is based on JEE MAINS score and are processed further through AKTU councilling , these year for OBC students INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY branch cut-off is 78k.For SC/ST students it is around 2lacs.

There is sufficient faculty ,there nehaviour is vey good ,our softskill class is much more funny and interesting. The math faculty and mehanics faculty is very good ,they teach very well ,they encourage the students for the preparation of GATE .They took extra lectures for the students of 3rd year for the GATE examination.I don't like the faculty of physics because he don't teach very well, he left some topics which will come in our semester exams, he don't clear the dought of students. There is 2 semester exams in 1 year ,and 4 class test in 2 semesters,the semester exams is moderate level exams but the class test are very difficult ,in class tests out ot 10 students 6 fails . And in semester exams 90 percent of students passes, because they teach verry well.The environment of college very close to students,faculty always supports the students.

No i have not face any group admission , interview or written test for the admission to this college.The admissiom is based on jee main score and you have to participate in AKTU councilling and according to your rank in jee main you will get your branch.

There is no gym inside the knit campus .There is two library in our college one is open to all and other is open for the students of electrical engineering.The library timing is from 10 am to 5 pm.The famous hangouts is knit sculupture .There is three canteens available one of which is amul's canteen.
