Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our curriculum consists of labs which prepares us for real world applications but the practical knowledge is not given abundantly. So the techniques of teaching should be improved by providing real life examples to the theoretical content.

Internships Opportunities

4

We have to undergo 1 month internship in our 3rd yr and 4 month internship in 4th yr. Internship opportunities are provided in the college itself. And apart from the college, companies like MVK transformers, Ramya Sree electrical automations provide internships.

Placement Experience

5

From 3-2 , Students become eligible for campus placements. Accenture, Infosys etc software companies visited. On average 10Lpa is provided.Nearly 50% got placed. I am planning for higher studies after getting this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid nearly 78k per year as a management student. If the student is not a management student, the fee will be 52k per year. The fee will be remained same yearly. It won't be increased. Extra fees includes building fund,NAAC and laboratory fees etc consists of nearly 6k.

Campus Life

4

VISTA is one of the technical festivals and YUVATARANG is one of the cultural festivals held in our college. Almost every book related to curriculum and journals and previous papers can be found in library. At a time, 2 to 3 books can be borrowed from the library for the time period of 15 days. Smart boards are provided within the classrooms.

Admission

I applied for few colleges but didn't get admission in any of them due to caste reservation system. Then I have chosen vignan(VIIT) due to it's outcomes in the form of quality education and placements. For me, It is easier to travel and financially suitable. The admission process is through councelling and it is done based on caste but not merit. Eligibility is intermediate or diploma. The entrance test for intermediate is EAMCET and for diploma is ECET.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student is nearly 1:20 The faculty and student engagement is quite friendly. Students can approach faculty whenever there is need. They respond positively. College conducts weekly tests and mid exams to cope up well with the semester examinations. The course curriculum is quite relevant with the exams.

Night Life

5

During night time, Our college looks like a palace due to it's light effects. It can be visible during our fests mostly. Gym facility is installed recently with sound equipment. College timings are 8 to 3 or 10 to 5 .But we stay until 6 by spending our time in sports and curricular activities. Our favourite hangout spot is our cafeteria and its Y junction which is quite used on shooting shortfilms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
