The curriculum is quite up to date as per the evolution in the industry. The modern instrumentations which are use in industries, its working and its principles arealso thought to students in details.

The total fee for first year student was 13945 for open catogery. however the fees was much lesser for reserved catogary. The majour fees was charged is for lab and library fee i.e. 6000 thousand and 1000 thousand respectively. It also incuded the caution fee and development fee of 150 and 500 along with E charges, E suvidha and disagster relief fund of 20, 50 and 10 rupees respectively.

The annual fest is named as philophista and is conducted in december end to january start. it include various events like treasure hunt, mehendi compition, nail art, photography and videography, traditonal days, western days, mis-match day, etc. a large no of indoor and outdoors are also performed including chess, carrom, badminton, cricket, vollyball, etc. The students can avail a large of books, enclyclopidea, reference articles and books, blackbooks, thesis documnetation, daily newpapers, etc

Various collegeswere applied for masters in science including somaiya, ruia, ratnum. However, when asked to any faculty, phd students about comparative analysis about these colleges along with institute of science, many of them prefered institue of science. It is because of it is specific to research curiculum and masters, phd courses. i have approval in almost every college for its admission, howvever, this college was selected on the suggestion made by the teachers. the admission process in this college is online based. firslty onlin form filling is done. then offline verification and confirmation of seats are carried out. specific no. of seats are alloted to the researvedctordary and others for the open caste.

The faculty members are helpful and of cooperative nature. Talking about the chemistry department,10 students are alloted for 1 teachers in general courses. however, when the project is alloted a miximum of 4 students are alloted to one teachers. the exams are performed in three parts i.e. the internals, practicals and theory. Internals are of two types i.e. ppt prenetation amd unit test. The sem end practicals is thus for theory. The exams are not much difficult in nature and can be crack easily with a basic preparation.

as mentioned earlier the college is loted in one of the prime location of the city. within a walking distance of 10-15 minutes one can find all the famous and well kmowns tourist places of the mumbai city. the college is close to gate way of india wiyhing 5 to 10 minutes of walking distance and same about distances for the famous marines drive of mumbai. one of the entry of the college is close to the kala ghoda statue located in colaba. when travelling to colleges asiatic library is seen along side.
