Reality of College student

the curriculum at IIMT University is generally designed to be both relevant and comprehensive, but its effectiveness can depend on factors like what course is about , faculty, and industrial visits. Curriculum does not prepare us for real world applications at all. Faculties need to be more lenient and engaging with the students and explain their topics practically, sessional are generally easy with a sufficient amount of time, same goes for internal and external examination but Pre University test and semester exams are difficult and there is only enough time to complete all questions no extra time to understand and read the paper.

Companies: TCS ,Wipro, Infosys,etc Roles: Data analyst intern, Web developer intern, Software developer assistant Projects: Data analysis and business intelligence , Web application development, Bug fixing and code, optimisation, etc

Campus placement in IIMT is not well off students have a hard time for getting eligible in campus placement, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, HCL Technologies are some companies that recruites computer science students, students from 7th semester are eligible to attend campus placement, only about 30% of the total student gets placement, my plan after getting degree is to do either masters or MBA in business

In IIMT UNIVERSITY, overall fee for a b.tech student is 1,35,000+ Which is divided into tution fee(somewhere around 105500), book bank(somewhere around 2000), nptel courses(3,000), ERP fees(7000), miscellaneous expenses(10000), examination fees(8000). For student of catagory sc&st the fees is 100000+, UP scholarship is the only scholarship provided by our college.

As per my knowledge there aren't many tech festival that occurs on a particular day these tech festival are unplanned and announced just 2-3 before the actual event but usually they occur in somewhere between September - November, central Library of our campus consist all the books and new articles that are required to work on any project, faculties are aware of technologies that are provided in classrooms, facilities that are available are smart board, fans, chair, lights that's it.There are several sports that University offers as extracurricular activities such as cricket, basketball, vollyball, dodgeball, martial arts, etc. yes, there are students run social groups like students welfare council, event management, & student portal created and associated with iCloudems which is very helpful in daily life like checking individual attendance percentage , performance, paying fees, complaints, course notes, assignments, event calendar, etc

I applied to this college due to several reasons firstly, I gave cuet exam & iimt was listed in there secondly also most importantly it was close to my home . I applied for jagannath university, rkgit University but both of them were far from my home so I couldn't make it in these colleges. Addmission process is simple you just need to head to the addmission cell and pay about 40% of your total fee note: you need to bring your documents such as 10th marksheet,12th marksheet, transfer certificate, character certificate, aadhar card, bank details, etc. everything will be processed by the counselor appointed for you

Faculty to student ratio is moderate, faculties are positive and have a good relationship with students who actually want to study, Some of the faculty members still follows the old teaching methods, b tech 1st semester faculty was the most supportive faculty of my campus life in case of support, knowledge, engagement everything was top notch, our physics teacher ( idk if I could include the name of faculty but as written in instructions I assume I can include name) rajendra sisodiya was the worst teacher in the campus life reason: if any students fail to complete the given task by him, he calls their father and tells them that your son is wasting your money & some other crap, there is also an incident where he told almost 70% of student body some important topics that were like mandatory to learn otherwise student might get failed but on the day of exam only 2 out of 15 topics given by him were on the question paper and so many students got back in their result because of that. There are total of 6 examination in a semester ( internal examination, sessional examination, Pre University examination, Semester Examination, External examination). 2 out of every 20 students fails to clear all these examinations. All the questions in exams are from the course curriculum.

Campus nightlife is more low-key and relaxed, with most students preferring cafes, gardens, or gym in the evening. IIMT does provide gym(only accessible for hostelers or when in gym cloths), cafeteria, library, and several public area such as gardens, ground, basketball court, etc. these are some famous places to hangout in campus , outside of campus there are several cafes and restaurants also locality of iimt University is very secured as it is near meerut cant.
