Likes
- The Course Structure:- Course comprises of all necessary subjects related to Business at the current time .Also the course was up to to market current standards like what i learned in bba i apply that in my job as well.
- Faculty:- SRMU has top notch faculty's having in depth knowledge& expertise of each subject they are teaching. I get a lot to learn from my teachers they taught me each subjects like how each topics applies in current job market.
- Placements:- Talking about placements the placement cell tries its best to get each students placed .SRMU have partnered with lot of companies like HCL, Ghyan DIary, TATA. It depends on student whether the practice on there softs skills or not.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure:- While i was studying SRMU was still developing , Like you can see every time some sort of construction was going on. But Now the campus is so much better as compared what it was in 2020.
- On Campus Canteen :-This was a big issue college canteen food was up to the mark, however there are some other canteen in campus (Sunil Bhaiya Canteen) who has one of the best Chai, where every student use to gather after every exam and all the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
Couse Curriculum was upto current market standards. With In depth Knowledge of each Subjects. Full course was divided in 6 semester.Each Semester comprises of 6 subjects. In 4 and 6 th Semester we also have industrial visits which give us a deep idea of how the business works in real life.
Internships Opportunities
Lot of Internship opportunites comes to our college.Few of them were universal tribes. planet spark they usually provide internship with 7000 (approx). other than that we have to make detail project report on internship training.
Placement Experience
Placements were good. I feel placements totally depends on individual personal skills (How someone keeps upto the market Scenarios ). Other than that Placement cell tries its best that each student gets placed.Lot of Companies visited at my time but mostly they were edtech like byjyus , learning routes,Jara Education which hired a lot of students.
Fees and Financial Aid
so I had taken admission in BBA (business analytics) in the year 2020. Fees for the full course was 330000, which we needed to pay in 6 installments semster wise 55000-60000 approx (per semester).Apart from fees we have to pay exam fees that was 1000 around per subject for each subject we were appearing for the exam. Yes college also provide some scholarship (for bright students) on the basis of class 12 th percentage.I was awarded a scholarshipo of approx 20000 in the total course fee.
Campus Life
Every year SRMU Organises its Annual Fest ANIHIBUTI where lot of curricular activites takes place like different cultural Plays, dance . Talking about the Library we had lot of books from various publishers also we get access to e library where we get lot of books.SRMU has lot of sports activites like footbal matches and kabbadi matches. SRMU has various clubs every student need to join 1 club in first semester as it was mandatory .
Admission
Other than SRMU , I applied for BBD . I Opted for SRMU because one of my known was already studying in this college so I get to know what is the real college culture, How are the placements and all. Whenver we are taking admission in a college first thing we check is how are the placements like if we are making a investment in college we want a return.Which I can surely tell I have got from the college. Talking about the admission process we have to connect with the admission cell on campus.
Faculty
When I was the student. SRMU have one of the best faculties like few of them were Mr AMIT SINHA sir who was teaching International Business and Operations Management .Sir was having more then 15 years of experience in corporate .Other Faculty was Dr Pragati Maam who was very sweet . Placement Cell Gaurav Sir was one of the faculty which i like the most . He tries his best that every studnt get placed. Sir motivate us a lot.
Interview Experience
Yes SRMU Placement cell give us gd , interview prepartion. training starts from 3rd semester itself , companies visit in 4 th semester for internships and for final placements they start coming in 5 th semester itself.
Night Life
I have not opted for hostel so I can't tell accurately about night life.However some of friends were stayin in college hostel they told me in night campus is totally safe for boys and girls.College library is opened till 5 pm.
