Likes

sports here is much apprciated and supported here in college. there is a sepereate department for sports which includes evry game staring from chess to badminton
the environment of the college , there is no ragging first of all , seniors are chill
the fests, culturals , clubs are all interesting and educatble which helps me to learn about new diffrent things

Dislikes

since campus is very vast i have to walk and roam around a lot to get to class from one to another
parking is very complicated over here for very thing we have to park our vehicles at the back of the college and walk back
the vigilance team is a bit strict on the first years god knows why

Course Curriculum Overview

curriculm is very waste like there isnt much any important things to do.. but we have been told that we our couse will start from second year .. so till that time we have to follow the curriculum and learn whatever they teach

infosys, zoho , ACL and many more compaines provide internships and placemnts according to it , depending on cgpa and skills which you learned in college. like whole third year will be internships which follow up with placements

i have no idea yet since i am frist year but during my councilling period i was told that internships will stary from 3 rd year where i have to work for 6 months in a commpany after that theyll allot a placement according to my cgpa , perfomance and all

Fees and Financial Aid

there is an entrance exam for this college, according to your scores there is scolarships provided, and placemtns are average for my course, there is also reservations provided which comes under management quaoto. yes i am paying yearly fees of 60000. for my other frnds without management qotuo fees may vary to 1lakh to 1.2

Campus Life

campus life is very chill and very good mostly there is zero ragging and all like we have a lot of places to hangout and play sports. theresnt much any strict dress code and all . we can just enjoy life and focus on acdemics for the nect three years withouy any hustle in campus

Admission

i have applied for srm , vit , saveeta univeristy , because too costly and also excceds my standards and also i got to know about new course in BSC in AIDA ( artificial intelligence and data anatyics ) which grabbed my attention

Faculty

in my course mostyl faculty are absent so pretty much bunk and learn on yourself and do things on your own as compared to other courses like aero, cse , faculty are prsent for them. i feel there is a bit partiality in courses like comparing to btech and all

Night Life

library is big has books for ervy course , public area such as gargae cafe , canteens , hangout where we can play badminton do boxing play chess and all. there are a lot of clubs which we can participate in and learn like athena club , horse riding etc and many more

Experience of a B.com student in HITS Padur

I mainly aimed to apply for Madras University affiliated college. Like loyalla, MCC, guru nanak, Vivekananda,etc, but there was a huge demand for b.com on that time, but ultimately I can't go into those colleges, they don't accept my marks(89%) that is lesser than 90%. So with some friends recommendation I heard about this college, first I shocked about the fees structure then we go to the main office which is in Guindy and talked to some staffs, and they reduced the fees to 60000. Which makes me to join in this college with no other alternatives. By the way in this college there is unique course which I opted in b.com that is B.com IIP that is (Industrial internship program), Which will allows you to go for a internship in the sixth semester.
