Quality of education, staff training is all good

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is hard but also easy to understand makes students relatively understand the career and course and how to apply it in real life and helps us think differently makes the study interesting

Class Size: 900Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Only after completion placement will be available But can work as interns in good companies with good stipends as per industry standards and learn about the hands on application for the career Almost 90 percent is placed in clg

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee will 130000 for first year And 10000 reduction after 1st year And will have scholarships also All categories have same fees structure without any difference , there will be attendance fees in case of low attendance, clg trips , workshops and other events like cultural events and batch days

Campus Life

Has one annual festival and other departmental culturals and other needed activities are done without any restrictions and also had student council for students welfare and goodness, also gives non departmental elective for students to know about other departments and interactive

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is well maintained and it depends upon the fee you pay there are 3 types of hostel and luxury is also considered it is upto 200000 per annum and provides food with proper cleaning facilities and other activities also

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

I prefered this clg because of naac certification and had good ranking and good exposure for the students and gives the needful , i had good nata marks , and we liked the clg atmosphere and also good fees structure compared to other clgs

Faculty

Staffs are so good towards students and works hard for students good experience , gives a lot of exposure, friendly towards students and treats everyone equally amd strict about certain rules in needfull cases

Night Life

After 6 students are not permitted for the safety reason and canteens are the hotspot in our clg Hostel timings are 7 to 7 can have erp approval to roam out of clg with parents concern only , safety of students is well considered

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very application based and hence very creatively stimulating. Architecture is best done when practiced and hence the college can only broadly address all the aspects of the practice. Teaching of the concepts required immense experience and knowledge and should be done with a lot of case studies for easier understanding. The exams have good intervals between them giving ample time to prepare.

A Roller coaster ride

Remarks:

The college was more than what I expected, I liked the fluidity and flexibility of the learning environment, but more focus should be given to bringing out the individuality of the student and allow for more opening of the mind. Sometimes it might seem limiting, and putting you in a box. But this has majorly got to do with the kind of faculty also, but I think the course should shape exercises in a way that the students are stretched to their maximum abilities regardless of the teacher's nature.

Experience of a B.com student in HITS Padur

I mainly aimed to apply for Madras University affiliated college. Like loyalla, MCC, guru nanak, Vivekananda,etc, but there was a huge demand for b.com on that time, but ultimately I can't go into those colleges, they don't accept my marks(89%) that is lesser than 90%. So with some friends recommendation I heard about this college, first I shocked about the fees structure then we go to the main office which is in Guindy and talked to some staffs, and they reduced the fees to 60000. Which makes me to join in this college with no other alternatives. By the way in this college there is unique course which I opted in b.com that is B.com IIP that is (Industrial internship program), Which will allows you to go for a internship in the sixth semester. U don't need to write any semester exams....Read More
