Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think the exams timing are as they need to be. Though there are teachers who sometimes say that the answers should follow a particular rule and that depends on teacher. The areas in curriculum needs no improvement till now, as far as i have seen.

Internships Opportunities

2

I'm just a first year student so i can't say much about internship though you can get an internship in your third or fourth semester. You'll get internship from Infosys, walmart, tata and others. There are few students (off campus) who get internship at google or microsoft or facebook.

Placement Experience

2

From 5 th semester, college provide placements to students. Student needs to be more into their course so that they can get placements earlier. There are alot of companies that give offers like Microsoft, Infosys, google and others. They don't particularly show how many percentage student get placed they how many got offers which is more than 100%. Highest package got was near about 30-40lpa. I don't have any hope for getting placement more than 4 lacks from my college so I'll apply for jobs other the jobs given by psit. So that i can get jobs that have more package and worth the skills i have for them

Fees and Financial Aid

The infrastructure is nice, the fees they take is quite expensive which is around 1,53,500 for first year and then 1 lakh something for 3 years and this doesn't include your hostel or bus charges. There is very much strictness for first year specially. You are not allowed to use cellphones, can't bunk classes and required to maintain 90% attendance otherwise there will be extra amount that you have to pay. There is Scholarship provided it has a full lenght criteria that you have to be eligible for mandatory is that you have to get above 90% in pcm in your 12th and annual income should be less than 2 lakh. They as well provide placement and internship and they teach you extra things so that you can get the jobs that you require but you have to be the one to word for that. In the end i can conclude if you have any other college you can opt that but if you want something that have less fees and provide you avg salary you sure can join at your own risk. Though the strictness is way too much that is needed.

Campus Life

3

You'll be provided few fest if you are a day scholars though you can apply in different of them but then you have to stay after college which is hectic. So by the view of hostlers i guess they have more campus life than the day scholars. There are different clubs that you can take part into. There is a huge library provided and it is surely clean. They have a variety of books academic, for placement purpose, for exams and novels as well. There is a club for sports as well.

Admission

I have applied to different colleges but i couldn't make their due to financial issues. I choose this college over the others is because the fee structure is less as compared to other good colleges. As well as there aee some college who take higher fees but provide same package that concludes that taking part in this college is better than that particular colleges. There are many ways through which you can take admission in PSIT Kanpur, i.e. through jee mains and direct admission. You can go through both mediums there is just one minor difference that you have to pay a little amount in direct admission.

Faculty

4

Faculty and student's relationship is great. Teacher focus similarly on each student they do not differentiate so much sometimes they focus on students who are weaker in their subjects. There were many moments when we didn't understand the subject we talked about that tonour coordinator and that was resolved, the teacher teaches us perfectly now. There are around 3AT and 2 CT, 1Pu and main AKTU exams. It is easy if you know the concepts clearly and difficult is you don't. Faculty clearly makes the topic covered.

Night Life

4

There is an open gym for girls and a proper gym for boys. For hostlers, they do have a life in campus but girls are required to be in their hostel rooms till 6pm and for boys it is 9pm. Thrre is pure strictness in the hostel as well. But they sure can enjoy their life there. The area where our college is, is quite unsafe due to the highway. But inside the college is pure safe.

The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. Integral University in the third of engineering asks us to take time out for placements training. Students who haven't done any internships are asked to do one or attend the workshops organized at the university. Thus in the final year, we are fully prepared and companies also are never disappointed as maximum students clear the interviews with ease.

Placement Experience:

My college has an average placement of 6LPA. Placement eligibility starts from the end of 5th semester, but when I got promoted to 5th semester, placements declined due the the restructuring in placement cell. So our batch missed the opportunity to attend any placements. In year 2022, the highest placement was around 22LPA and in year 2023, it declined to 9 LPA as there was restructuring in team. After getting my degree I will look for carrier opprotunities on my own, as I have not experienced any placement in my college years.
