Course Curriculum Overview

Three years course with wide opening opportunities in hospitality industry. Hotels and Restaurants chain are providing you vacancy to work with them and to provide best hospitality services to their guests.

Placement Experience

Internship done in Hotel Radisson Varanasi and stipend paid Rs 300 per month at that time. Internship was provided by college if you are not able to get it by own. Six months internship period is there.

College Events

Annual Day and festival celebration organized in college every years. During the event, every student are allow to participate and the main thing is the food which we prepare by hearts to our guests and students are awesome

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it is affiliated by Pusa University Delhi and it is a government recognised university so the fees structure is not expensive as compared to private hotel management College. It will be 1/4 th as compared to private college

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea as I didn't took loan but banks will provide education loan to students as it is a government affiliated college by Pusa University Delhi. Course fees structure is also very less as compared to other private college

Campus Life

Everything provide in college. Housekeeping department, Food & Beverages Department, Front Office Department and ours favourite Kitchen which every student love to be there and to cook in every style.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year Alumni meet organized by college. All ex students from all over world will come and enjoy the events and a get together once in a year to every faculty and friends which we miss everyday in our daily life

Admission

Entrance exam conducted by Pusa allover India. After passing exam, you are provided to select the college according to your merit list. After college selection, you are allowed to take admission in the college

Faculty

They all are experienced. Knowledge is the base thing and all are selected by interviews. Their way of teaching during practical are awesome and cooking is favourite to maximum people. Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverages and Kitchen work are fantastic

My experience in IHM Bhopal

Placement Experience:

As far as the placement of colllege is concerned we had the job assisstance programme and at the placement big Hotel industries and MNC companies were invited and alo the airline like Air Asia. But I decide to switch my career for the UPSC and other competitive exams.

My IHM days…

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester on, students are trained mentally to participate in the placement process. The first step is to choose the representative who will take charge of the particular set of students for example their resume building, resume submission, informing students about the upcoming companies arrival in the institution for placements and the designations for which they are coming. Nearly from the 6th semester, placement process starts to take place. Name of the companies are: Taj hotels snd resorts Oberoi hotels and resorts Delhi duty free Arvind fashion Lemon tree hotels Madhuban resorts Club Mahindra Mariott hotels Starbucks Highest package was around 4.50lac/annum Average package was around 2.25lac/annum Nearly 77% students were placed from the colleges placements, few opted out for further studies. I was placed in Marriott Hotels.

Placement is very good But the placement package we get is 12-15k max That is not enough and is this corona time it's becoming very difficult. 50% of students get placed for 12-15k I will do mba After the hotel management cause with this package, I can not adjust

My life in an hotel industry

Placement Experience:

Form last semester 6 that is the final year final semester after that you are eligible for the placements. There are many companies and hotels with are a part of our college placement. College provides opportunities to be selected in the PI round and get a job at these hotels. Companies like Radisson blue, Marriot, and many more are a part of college placements. The interviewer will not select you on the basis of your looks or way of talking but also from the way you carry yourself, your skills, your way of handling things, knowledge and all sort of things.

My IHM days…

For IHM colleges, there comes a competitive examination named as NCHMCT-JEE conducted by NTA which allows a student to score well and get into 29 Central institutions of Hotel Management and nearly 70 State Institutions of Hotel Management. I scored well in my competitive examination and during selection process i chose, IHM Hyderabad, IHM Bhopal, IHM Gwalior, IHM Lucknow & IHM Jaipur, these are Central IHM's and i got my spot in IHM Gwalior at first place and i selected it. I applied for IHM Goa and Pusa but my rank was not up to the mark. Then I got into IHM Gwalior. I've got 4832 ranks in all India exams of NCHMCT. I always wanted to do hotel management as i was always having a keen interest in hotel industry. I lucky enough to get admission to IHM Gwalior. As I was planning for hotel management, my family and friends were supporting me to at every moment.
