Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is okay okay. Don't much contribute in real world projects. It is all about theory without practice. You have to prepare or practice by yourself for real world applications. There should be more practicals. Teachers started ppt in the class and just reading things from it. Exams timing was good.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester you become eligible for campus placements. One banc and other companies come here for just show off and make students fool. Highest package offered is 10 LPA and average one is 4 LPA. 70-80 % students got placed. Trying for placements, working on skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
1st year : Rs. 1,50,000 2nd year : Rs. 1,50,000 3rd Year : Rs. 1,50,000 4th Year : Rs 1,50,000 tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, etc all is including in Rs. 1,50,000. There is no scholarships or management quota there. They took students based on seats available and 12th percentage. One of my batchmate have Rs. 1,00,000 per year because her sister is in same college.
Campus Life
Annual festival or technical festival is Dronathon happened in March-April. The wide range of books and journals available in library. Library is most happening and beautiful place of Dronacharya. The facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are just okay. Sports and extracurricular is quite good on campus. You got one sports period per week. Yeah, there is multiple clubs and groups in college.
Admission
I got confirmed admission from bangalore colleges but due to reloaction problem i had to chose this one and its affordable fees. Yes, i got rejection from many colleges punjab technical university, NITs, DTU and others. You get admission here with good 12th percentage or JEE Mains rank.
Faculty
Faculty-to-student ratio is very poor. Some of the faculties are great and help us with projects and coding things very well. One of my fav faculty is Ashwini Kumar sir. He is great human being and great teacher. Shipra Arora, Neha Verma, Yashwardhan sir are good among them. I don't like some teachers they forced us to do things and involves badly in college politics. I can't name them..but most of them are involved in politics only. There is one sessional, one pre university and one final semester exam for each semester. Number of subjects depend upon the semester. Exams are easy, you can easily pass these exams by studying one or two days only. Course curriculum is good but teachers were not able to complete syllabus. You have to study for exams yourself. They can help with notes at most.
Night Life
There is no nighlife and gym in Dronacharya college. Library is good, cafeterias is more like dukaan. Hostel got shut during corona time. You can play on the ground for hangout or refresh. No, the locality is not safe even in sunlight. My experience is very bad with the local public.
