College is quite large each department have big building with big classes with hi spec smart class

Dislikes

Some times result are declared quite late and had to wait for few weeks and over all it's fine

Course Curriculum Overview

We have two main courses per year, my course is statistics and computer science i choose computer science because i was interested in it and statistics because i opted during pu overall it has great future aspects

Internships Opportunities

We don't hav any company or internship available at our college we hav college based internship where we are given a project under a teacher and we have to work on project with teammates this is the case of our college

Fees and Financial Aid

Our fees is 12.5k since iam cat-1 For others fees is 20k Exam fees for every semester is 1100 Backlog fees per course is 265 12.5 k consists of 7.5k lab fees The college fees itself is 5048 College is fine and well maintained

Campus Life

It's great i made few great friends college campus is very wide it stretches around 2 km ramge with shops and canteen college is filled with greenery and 2 large playground with 400 meter runway and football field

Admission

I applied jss college in bcom but it's fees was relatively high so i joined kscd over jss it's less costly and close to my home and to save my time this college is better and under government with great facilities

Faculty

Faculty is good they scold us now and then but they don't have any personal grudge they still help us in the end and they are lenient towards students and very helpful some lecturer are off the charts with their teaching

Night Life

The kscd is safe as it is in centre of dharwad, it cente of dharwad and have many amazing cafe, restaurant around the campus so overalll I'm very satisfied with campus life alll the department closes by 6pm

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Peaceful College And Campus Life

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Would never recommend this college for the students who want to take a Tech Job

The college was know for it's name. Here attendance was not considered that seriously. Fees was very less at that time. I went to Jss college the principal took undertaking for not scoring less than 75% in every semester. The college was strict for it's discipline, classes. Candidate has to pass 12 th/ PUC for lateral entry BCA they take students from Diploma. Candidates with merit list has reduced fees. Management seats/ self financed seats are also there.
