College of Agriculture Latur- All information about fees structure, campus and placement

As this course teaches us about all the knowledge of agriculture, I was influenced to choose this course. In academic year 2024- 25 syllabus and dynamics of this course are changed. More practical approach towards self employment is given. Various projects like mushroom production technology are included from 1st semester of the degree programme. So this curriculum prepares very nicely for real world applications Currently there are no areas for improvement in course but are in college campus placement. Student placement cell is trying to improve that. Semester is of about 5 months in that 2 times exams are held 1- Mid term examination 2- Semester End Examination ( Theory and Practical) They are easy to pass.

Hifield Organics This company provides internship of 2 months to 7th semester students every year . Students are asked for doing marketing of the products in agri allied shops. Stipend is dependent upon sales and visit to shops Compulsory travelling allowance of rs 500 is given to each student

Annual functions Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Mahotsav - Sports and Cultural week. During period of 13 th February to 19th February this cultural programme is held. This includes both cultural competition as well as sports competition. Library is quite big. Most of the important books of agriculture are present and accessible to students. Also computer lab is present in library for students for research and study. In classrooms projector is present

In hostel 2 beds 2 cupboards 1 fan Meal quality of mess is alright but it can be improved . Menu- Both veg and non veg options are available Registration process is very simple While registering for every semester at that time you have to pay fees of 6000 rs and you get admission to hostel. There are various rooms and row house available in Mauli nagar as well as Vivekananda chowk

Admission process is very simple. First you have to give MHT- CET Exam after 12th standard. Then when result comes you have to apply for CAP admission process. After application you have to give options of college as per your marks. Also you can get admission by giving exam of ICAR , NEET or JEE. During my CAP Admission process this college was allotted to me during 1st CAP round so I freezed my admission. You can also float and see next cap round

Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 Faculty student relationship is very good. Faculty are strict about their respective subjects. Regular lecture are taken by them. They explain every concept thoroughly. All the facilities are nice. I liked most of them. Exams are easy to pass . Exams are divided into two parts as per the course. Some courses have both theory exam and practical exam. While some are only theory or only practical courses. For theory exam 20% marks are for the mid term examination conducted by college while remaining 80% marks are for Semester End Theory Examination (SETE) which is conducted by MCAER. As for the practical exam there is SEPE exam before or after the SETE exam.
