Course Curriculum Overview

There is practical application of concepts which have been tought in the college. There are great applications for real world The developments to be done is updating the building, using high eqiped or updated equipment in labs In every month there would be exams

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees :85000 Caution fees :2000 Registration fees :500 Development fees :10000 Lab fees :100 The fees of all the students who are studying in sastra University is same . The merit cum need is 50 percent of the tution fees

Campus Life

The annual teachnical fests are daksh , kuruksastra and cbum. There are wide range of books and accessibility to books in the libraries . There are all types of sports and extracurricular activities in the campus which includes gym , shuttle, cricket, football, basketball

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms can be of 3 shared or single shared The meal quality is worst which only contains veg and non non veg is given or allowed into the hostel. There is no chance of getting a room or pg at the clg as it is located outside the city

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

I got admission confirm in SRM , I choose sastra instead of SRM this is because of the fee structure in Sastra is very lop when compared to SRM. I didn't get any rejections from the other colleges The admission process is based on jee mains score or It can be on the ipe marks

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1 to 40 All the faculties who thought us are good we like all the faculty members The disliked faculty is maths faculty as they itself don't know the maths. There are 3 mid exams they are not so easy . Almost all students can clear the mid exams

Night Life

All the public area such as gym , cafeteria, Library will be closed by 8:30 pm The hostel closing timmings for boys is 8:30 pm and for girls is 6:30 pm The famous hangout places inside the campus is gym

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

Placement Experience:

There is many opportunities given by the collage placement they give training. For placenta and they have some fees structure for placement and that I have paid 2 times 12500 for placement training there are no of opportunities and many companies give good offers for students.

The course curriculum is good...but it is better to have present skills to be learnt ...it is all university fixed curriculum that cannot be changed otherwise all were good to know about basics and good sib knowledge

Aspects Of College

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very good. The studentrs are given oppertuties and are given chances for comapnies such as amazon, Wipro, JP morgan and such that have a great CTC and a large number of other companies including startups are also available. If the student is interested in entrepernership then the startup cell funds for the ideas of students. There is a seperate higher studies cell for students who want to pursue their higher studies and are given guidance to what steps are to be taken by educational fairs and such

Average College Experience at Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is good. Average salary package is 5LPA. Companies like Amazon, JPmorgan, Virtusa, Accenture, HCL, Valeo, TCS and other major companies hire many students here. I heard more than 90% students were placed.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements in our college usually start from 6th semester. Students are regulary trained for placements from the 1st year both in aptitude and coding skills. Certain branch students receive training specifiically in their own field Most of the students get placed in IT-service based companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys and Accenture. In recent years students have got placed for Marquee offers in big prodcut based comapnies like Autodesk, Amazon, MIcrosoft and Goldman Sachs.

Not a topper but a good learner

Placement Experience:

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.

Life at sastra university

Yaahh I had appyfor other colleaes also like lpu ,vit, EAMCET.. reason is why iam not joined in that college is to 1.in lpu I got seat alsoo but that college is soo waast and for me it will be more distance.2.in vit i didn't get cse so I rejected it .in EAMCET i am not interested I got below 20k rank but...not went to that .
