The campus is huge and beautiful. You will love the roads and lake.
There is diversity in crowd. All types of students can be seen in campus.

College is on outskirts. You have to take local train to go to city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of my course (CSE) is quite nice. There are subjects included that will be a high help in my placements like DSA, OS, etc. Curriculum differ on the courses. The exams taken, both internals and end semester are not tough if you study properly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships offered through campus are limited. Those offered can be of 2 months or 3 months based on the offer. Campus provided internships help in maintaining attendance, i.e., students no need to worry about their attendance.

Placement Experience

Placements provides by SRM are not bad. The highest package of 2024 was INR 52 LPA and the average was INR 7.2 LPA. Number of companies were more than 980 that visited the campus and offered over 5546 offers to students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees are different for different courses. Current CSE fees is 4 lakh per year. Admission can be either through entrance exam SRMJEEE or management quota. Scholarship can be availed through rank achieved in SRMJEEE. Other scholarships are available on the SRM portal.

Campus Life

Campus Life in SRM is amazing. Friends will automatically made over time and the best part is the lake. You can get all your essentials inside the campus like food, stationary, printout, etc. There are different buildings for different branches such as Law, Biotechnology, etc.

Admission

The other colleges I applied to were VIT, MIT Manipal. But SRM was my final decision decision because of the campus and freedom it provides. On the other hand, VIT has an early in time, so it difficult there to have a social life.

Faculty

Faculties at SRM are really kind. They'll help you if you ask them to. Also, they are really experienced. Most of the faculty members have 10+ years of experience in their respective fields. The exams are not that tough if you know your curriculum. All the materials are provided by the faculty and they are really good.

Night Life

If you are a hosteller than the jn time would be 9 pm for boys and I think 7 pm for girls. So the night time are upto 9 and 7 pm for them. Those living in PGs and flats have no in time so they are free to roam around and eat anything they want and enjoy.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
