Remarks

It is average. The campus will be a good and peaceful place to learn. There will be some strict and silly rules imposed on the students by the college management. These rules will be irritating the students. That's why this college has a name School and Jail instead of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

When I was studying, it is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and so the curriculum is according to JNTU K, now it's Autonomous body the syllabus will almost be the same. There will be 2 semesters per year. So, in total there will be 8 semesters and you have to clear all of the to complete your B.Tech. You will have 2 mid exams for every semester. Half the syllabus will be covered for each mid

Placement Experience

2

When I was in my final year, the software was down and so there were hardly any placements. Cap Gemini was the only company that came for recruitment and only few people got selected. I could finally get a job in Infosys but it's a pool campus drive. My seniors got good placements. College does not provide any Internship. The student have to look after that and there will be no stipend for the Internship.

College Events

2.5

Every year in the month of January there will be Yuvtarang fest conducted by the college management. Every Student waits for this fest so that they can enjoy. It's a great platform for students to showcase their talents. And they also conduct Tech fest in month of September.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I was studying, the college is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. So, the fee is 67000 per year exculding transport and exam fee. But now it's around 1.1-1.2 lakh per year. This is expensive according to me and the transport fee is too expensive when compared to other colleges in Visakhapatnam. So, i prefer own transport or public transport. There will be many share autos at the college gate at a feasible cost.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan will not be provided by the college. The state government of AP provides scholarship for some category students whose family income is less than some value. These people only need to pay the bus fee and the exam fee. The rest is paid by the government and there is a formal method to get registered in this showing the income certificates and all. I do not have any scholarship and I have the complete fee. So, I don't know in detail about this.

Campus Life

2.5

Extracurricular activities are held but the practice and all need to done one after the classes get completed. So, most students will not plan to stay in college after 4 PM. Every year they conduct Yuvtarang(Cultural Fest), and Tech fest. People who are interested can participate and showcase their talents. This is a great platform and the thing I like the most in my college.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No. I am a day scholar. But I have heard from my friends that the hostel is average kind and not very good and comfortable based on the fee. So, most of them moved out of the hostel from 2 nd year onwards.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no much importance given to almuni by this college. Once a student completes his B.Tech then he leaves the college. Neither the student nor the college will look back for other. Some students will let the college know if the company they are working in is planning to recruit. This helps the the juniors to get placed.

Admission

For getting admission in this college there are 2 ways. 1. You need to clear the AP EAMCET exam and then the councelling takes place where in who will be allowed to give preferences to your wished colleges. Then based on your EAMCET rank and your college preferences you will be allocated admission in that particular college. In this case you need to pay only the fee. 2. If you are unable to get admmission in your wished college, then you can buy. This is called Management Quota seat. You need to pay extra amount for getting the admmission along with the college fee.

Faculty

3

The faculty is not very good and also not very bad. Some are very good and some doesn't know anything. College recruits most faculty who have completed their masters form some reputed colleges. These people have a very good knowledge but they work with college only till they get a better job opportunity.so, the faculty keeps on changing every now and then.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
