Course Curriculum Overview

SRM KTR offers an industry-aligned curriculum with modern topics like AI, data science, and IoT. It balances core and elective courses, emphasizes practical learning through projects and internships, and provides global exposure. While comprehensive, deeper focus on research can enhance it further.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 475000 per year

Placement Experience

As I am studying in my first sem I have less information on the placements here. As I heard from my seniors here the average package is about 7 lpa. But you need to work for your placement and future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the Computer Science Engineering is four Lakh 75 Thousand. The registration fee is a separate charge and simple time payment which is 10 thousand. The fee will definitely increase for the next year.

Campus Life

The campaign life here is good, but far from the city. Here there are many clubs to explore different domains other than your course. The infrastructure in SRM University is good but at some places it is not good.

Hostel Facilities

I have chosen four sharing AC room non attached bathroom. Here I am paying 1 lakh 90 thousand rupees but no worth for it. The room is small and the bathroomsbare not clean. And the Laundry facility here is not proper

Admission

I chose SRM KTR for its modern CSE curriculum, strong placements with top recruiters, infrastructure, and global opportunities like semester-abroad programs. Compared to other colleges, it excels in industry alignment and exposure. I missed a few colleges due to high cutoffs.

Faculty

Some faculties are good and some faculties are bad. We cannot depend on them completely. We will be having three cycle tests, semester exam and practicals in just one sem with many assignments, projects, pots.

Night Life

There is no night life in SRM. For Boys, last time to enter hostel is 9 pm. If you want to study in Library a permission letter should be taken from warden. For girls it is even worse in Timings. Don't expect night life.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
