My main reason to choose this course is because of the way of job we get after we get graduated and the interest of mine if you are interested in children treatment this course is for you only but this not only for paediatric it also has geriatric

We have and government facilitated hospital inside oru university campus where we get out internship and we get an good knowledge by doing our internship in the college and so that we gain more experience so that it is easy for us to get an job

Fees and Financial Aid

This year I paid ?1,65,000. And every year I should pay this same amount and the money you spend is worth to every inch and you will realise it after you complete your degree and this is an four and half year program which contains your internship of six months and when you come out as an professional occupational therapist you will me so much skilled that any other professional in your profession

In Sri Ramachandra we celebrate Pongal , Diwali, Christmas, we have cultural, sports culturals , many student councils and committees in which you can become and member and learn may new things and one important thing in Ramachandra is we give everyone same equal opportunity

I applied to SRM college,saveetha university and Sri Ramachandra university I got selected in all the three but I chose Sri Ramachandra because it is well known for its environment , exposure, opportunities, this university gives importance to both studies as well as sports and cultural activities

Here the faculty and student relationship is like an relationship between two best friends so we no need to worry about the teaching and the staffs here And you can only see such an amazing teachers and teaching only in Sri Ramachandra Institute of higher education and research institute that too in Sri Ramachandra faculty of occupation Therapy

Night Life

In our university we have gym,swimming pools , boating which is accessible for everyone and we have many cafeterias and restaurants inside our university and we have an good hostel facility and feel good food for hostel students

OVERALL FINE

Placement Experience:

In the final year only students are provided internships as per their CGPA. I am not sure with the packages they provide, because we are not acknowledged about the placement packages. My plan after getting this degree is to work in a hospital for 1 or 2 years. After that i will study Msc in CVT. Then i wish to move outside india for more career opportunities out there.

Placement Experience:

The college gives internships after the final year, 6 months is the duration of the internship, 3 months inside campus and 3 months they post us outside the college to nearby hospitals or colleges like SRM,Meenakshi, Saveetha, balaji etc....Placements are average, they have to do a lot of work on it, but the coming placements are with a good salary amount

Cardiac perfusion at NICHE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum includes 6semesters with every 5 subjects in each semester. 1year provides basic anatomy physiology subjects and 2nd year onwards going to the core of the subject. The course includes both theory and practical classes. A practical session is done in NIMS medication in the operation theatre. The faculty is very friendly and teaches in a very friendly manner. 10:40 student-faculty ratio is there. Many of the faculties there are taken doctorate in their subject or they are professional doctors. Semester exams are done every 6months. The examination includes both practical exams and theory exams. A practical exam is done in NIMS mendicity operation theatre. Exams are mandatory.

LIFE IN NIEPMD

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course since many are not aware of this course. I came to explore many new things other than my stream subjects also since its a multi disciplinary institute. Our lectures are well equipped with all instruments in audio department with greater experience. And they teach so well by both board lecture and also virtual class settings. We can seek clinical supervisiors help to explore more than theory knowledge. This speech therapy is totally different thing to understand. Its completely based on the practice you expose to. Our faculty makes you well trained for all the test tool assessment and also in techniques while taking therapy.

Admission:

I sent the application form. They called for interview. I attended the interview and got selected. everything happened within a week. That was a nice experience for me. I had one to one interview it was very fun I enjoyed a lot. The staff shared his experience on these field.

Pros and cons of Uni

The eligibility of my course is to complete 12th grade and atleast score 60% in the exams. As of for me i joined the university by going to the university and by applying it in person. I had to fill a form and then attend an interview. Its better if u reseve and keep the seat as it is very hard to get a seat here. The frequency of exams are very quick and thats how they keep checking your level of confidence in exmas.
