College through review

For 1st year of b.tech you are given all types of subjects that a technical student must know like basics of maths, mechanical engg. , civil, CS etc. For 2nd year after finding your domain you are assigned a small doze of subjects like inteo to python, oops with python, C language / Java, RDBMS, DSA etc.

For internship...and projects, 1st and 2nd year a compulsory course is made where you get time to work on your minor projects and enhance your CVs. Apart from these a 2 months time is given to you at the end of 2nd year to do an internship. At the end of 3rd year it is compulsory to have a major internship and a major project to be completed. College do provide companies for internship. If you don't want to join them you can go for off campus internships .

First of all each student at the end of the degree , is placed i.e. the faculties are assigned a group of students. These faculties are responsible for traning and making the students assigned to them get ready for placement drives. They really work hard to get the students placed. Every year tge average package size increases like when l joined it was 4 LPA 2023 and now it 's 6 LPA 2024

Development fees - 20000/- Tution fees - 105625/- Registration fee - 1500/- This is the basic fees..apart from this if you have a good precentage in your 12th (80 - 90)you can get 50% scholarship on tution fees. If more than 90 then you can get 70% scholarship. Also based on your competitive exam score you can avail scholarship. ** Based on which counselling session you attend.

There are three fests organized every year Lakshya (annual fest), UDGAM and the other l don't remember the name they are really amazing. Many clubs and societies are being formed in the collage headed by a captain and a vice captain of students council. E.g. - Debate society, Dance and music club, literacy and theater club, technical clubs like google developers community, github club, amazon's azure community. Social clubs like NSS, Poornima Pathshala, Helping hands. For sports proper instructors are provided to help in sports like basketball, football, tennis, volleyball etc. If you are good enough they will select you in college team and then you can reprsent your college, state (if selected), etc.

Rooms are decent. You get double sharing rooms with three options :- Fan Duct A/C Except this if you want and you are lucky enough you can opt for single room with any of these options(lucky in the sense if the room is available). You get a nice almirah, a table with 2 drawers, a chair,a shelf with 2 storage spaces and a nice bed. You also get a common balcony for 3 rooms to soak your clothes. Quality and taste of food is decent much sort of like a dhaba style. Meals are served 4 times a day and sunday is special as you get a sweet at night also the food is a bit better than rest of the days.

Admission process is quite simple. I choose this college as it fits all kinds of average students. It acts as a hub for you to find your niche. Also it gives you scholarship every year based on your CGPA. Competitive exams like BArch., JEE, NDA,CDA etc. scores are accepted for scholarship. If your parents' background is defence you get 50% scholarship .

1:50 or 1:40 faculty to student ratio.(b.tech) Faculty - student relations are good...approaching to them is really easy and they really help a lot.(except DSW). There are 3 written exams conducted each semester. CIE 1 - 80 marks (actual value in cgpa 16 marks) MSE (mid sem.) - 80 marks (actual value in cgpa 16 marks) ESE (final) - 60 marks

Talking about hostel life it is quite good you get many benefits but so have a con. Con in the sense poornima is a group of colleges that has 4 campus PU, PCE, PGI and PIET. Once you apply for hostel you can be allocated in any hostel of these 4 campus but they so provide bus facility for the hostellers. Don't worry no extra charges are taken form you. Also for the gym and laundry the fees is already included in your hostel charges.
