Likes
- The things that I liked about the college is the campus area. The campus is very neat and clean, with a lot of trees inside which makes it more beautiful.
- It also provides gym which is very useful for the students.
- For playing games we have basketball court, volleyball court, football field and cricket ground as well.
Dislikes
- The campus area is small which makes the students feel conjusted.
- The lights of the basketball court are not working from a long time and the college is not doing anything about it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relevance and comprehensive, it helps us to become a professional in the hospitality industry. While we can have different skill sets in fnb service, fnb production, Front office and accommodation operations. The exams are once every 4 months which makes the semester small but it is alright as the difficulty of the course is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
Their is a total of 272485 rupees fees. It is divided into 3 parts, academic fee, hostel fee and mess fee. The hostel fees is 45000. The mess fees is 48000 and the rest is the academic fees. Our college doesn't provide any scholarship till date.
Campus Life
My overall experience with the campus life is very good as inside the campus all the things are being provided like for playing games their is basketball court, volleyball court, football field, and cricket ground as well. The infrastructure is also very good and well maintained by the college.
Admission
I choose Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology because the main reason was it was affiliated to the army. As only the students whose parents are serving or served in the army can take admission in this college, which makes the environment very disciplined. For the admission in this college first I gave an online exam conducted by the college all over India. After clearing the exam, I came to Bangalore, where the college is situated, then all the necessary documents were provided to the college and the admission process was done.
Faculty
The relationship between the faculty and the students are very good. All the faculty are very approachable and helpful. They are always up to help us at any time, it doesn't matter if it is related to academic or personal basis. Each year the subject changes, exept the four core subjects.
Night Life
The nightlife around the college campus is very good as it is well maintained by the college and all the things like gym, cafeteria, library are provided by the college. The campus in timming is 8:30pm and the hostel in timming is 9:00pm. The famous hangout place inside the college is the gathering area where all the friends meet and chill around, and the famous hangout place outside the college is the mall which is situated just beside our college.
