Karunya life

personally bioinformatics intrigued me so i chose to take up biotechnology but then after joining the course i developed an interest in genetic engineering and i think the curriculum aligns well with real life application

Students usually become eligible for placements in their final year of college, Where a lot of big companies visit the college every year , inclusing hungerbox, google, accenture, as far as i remember somebody was offered 10LPA, almost 85% of students get placed in various companies Iam currently applying for colleges

I paid around 90,000 rupees per semester as tuition fee and my hostel fee was rounded up to 30,000 rupees that rounds up to 1,80,000 per annum for tuition fee alone there was an extra amoount that needed to paid for semester exams and I was offered a scholrship fee in my 1st year of college where i paid around 50,000 rupees The fee might differ with NRI students.

We usually have mindkraft and as well as megaplay every year and we have a big library with numerous books, accecibilty to all genres There is CTC where a lot work goes in there are various clubs where students are part of which includes NSS, Nature club,Music club etc

There are many facilities including AC and well equipped washrooms and the food was good with a variety of cusinies to choose from The hostel was afoordable and the fee was not that bad karunya is a compulsory residential institution with hostel rooms available for all students

I havent applied to any other colleges and karunya was my first choice and since i personally liked biotech's course in karunya. I have decided to take it up. I did not get any rejections from any other colleges. The admission process had an entrance exam and the after i got in the admission process was pretty smooth.

The faculty were amazing and very talendted, they helped me with all my acaademic and extracurricular activities which includes projects and internship oppurtunities I personally found Dr. Muthukumar sir's classes very intresting as he made sure every student understood of what was happening in the class There were usually 6-7 subjects per semester and the exams were aligned to the course curriculum

All the hostels are equipped with gyms and cafeterias in their respective hostel where they are available till late in the night and they open in the morning which are around a walkalble distance, Usually the canteen is where all the students tend to hangout
